The Cubs Fans Who Trekked From Arizona With a Goat Arrive at Wrigley Today
Five Cubs fans have trekked from Mesa, Arizona to Chicago over a three month journey, bringing along a goat named Wrigley they purchased on Craigslist. The group is of course trying to break the famed Curse of the Billy Goat that began in 1945 when tavern owner Billy Sianis’ goat was refused admittance into the World Series game against the Detroit Tigers. Cubs fans being a superstitious lot, this is far from the first attempt to break the curse involving goats. These five gentlemen, through the website crackthecurse.com are also raising money for cancer and have chronicled their journey as they traversed through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Illinois.
They arrived in Chicago yesterday, just in time to see the Cubs finally end a twelve game losing streak in what they hope were the death throes of the Curse. Today, they made the 1.9 mile walk from WGN to Wrigley Field.

Cubs fans are the worst. Not ones that actually live or have ties to Chicago. The rest of them.

Perhaps they should have waited for a year when the Cubs were not a steaming pile of waste. You know what helps break curses? Having a batting order which can actually hit left handed pitching.

Anyone remember the goat skit Adam Sandler did on one of his earlier CD’s? Good God that was funny.

I just remembered I pissed in a pint glass Friday morning and left it on my dresser. Should probably take care of that tonight.
The mention of Wrigley jogged my memory.

Refer to comment 10. They needed something to do along the way.

My room is on the third floor of my house, very steep stairs, my vision sucks, and I woke up in the middle of the night and didn’t feel like falling down the stairs.

When I’m shitfaced I just piss out my window rather than walk down the hall to the bathroom. Can’t imagine having to walk down two flights of stairs.

you mofos are lazy and nasty. unless you’re in college, get the fuck up and walk to the bathroom.
May 29th, 2012 at 2:29 PM
cause somebody would get toasted and leave the goat in the truck for two months before remembering he was supposed to mail the goat.
