Just use it practicing. Let your left-eye find the line as you stand over the ball. It’s why most Am’s are always aimed too far right. I can tell in 3 minutes whether a guy who can’t putt grew up hunting, or shooting skeet. Too much right eye influence.

ive looked into aim and alingment a lot on the greens and don’t have too much of an issue with alignment. what i do have a problem with is being a hamfisted retard on slick downhiller’s.

As for ball flight–I always tell guys the same thing. They hit driver higher than you, and irons LOWER than you.

somewhat in the middle of those two, i was always amazed at how high they hit their long irons. it’s relatively easy to hit the ball higher off the tee and deloft a short iron, but hitting a 3i that gets way up off the fairway is not easy.

Ritty–polarization is a killer on the course. Flattens everything. It’s hard to find a prescription lens that doesn’t flatten OR fishbowl. It’s why my “golf playing” glasses are 8 years old, and my prescription has changed 3 times. I’ve hit 100000000 practice balls and putts with them, and any change in RX just kills me.

As for ball flight–I always tell guys the same thing. They hit driver higher than you, and irons LOWER than you. Easier to control spin and yardage when it’s lower. They COULD hit irons higher and farther than they do at any time. But target clubs are dialed in, and no need to see how far you can hit an 8 iron.

my putting issue has been inconsistent tempo.

i love thinking about my tempo and then having my tempo go to shit. really fun, i tell ya.

and the new driver is fucking incredible…the whiteboard made the difference.

very interesting, since ive had a similar issue randomly pop up that’s kinda related to equilibrium. i usually line up putts and chips with my left eye closed (im right eye dominant) and sometimes, when i stand over the ball with both eyes open, i cross-eye myself and need to step back. it’s really weird…but happens less frequently the more ive practiced.

I’ve come down a little on yardage. Hitting a high fade which is good for fairways. That was one thing that immediately jumped out at me about those pros. Their trajectory was a lot lower than my usual ball flight but their ball just stayed in the air forever.

TOTALLY. and you can see how little sidespin they generate via their ballflight too. on the range, you see wicked sliders going every which way, but when a tour pro plays a fade or a draw, it’s a gentle, subtle shape. even the “high spin” players like sergio and tiger.

It should be better yes. Previously I relied on general experience from putting the same greens so many times. I’d think, okay this should break 1/2 cup because I’ve had this putt before and I kind of remember and my fuzzy eyesight can pretty much confirm. Now I can see the undulations and get a better idea of the subtle breaks.
