It’s just set up by the guy who runs trivia at the bar I played at last night. If you want to send me $20 I can get you a spot but I don’t think he’s expecting too many players (15-20 probably).

Anyone want to give me some input on a pool I entered? Here’s how it works: Pick 6 teams from either league. Starting on June 6, the first person whose teams have totaled 60 wins between them wins the pool. Tiebreaker is name 2 players from the teams you’ve picked who hit the most homeruns in that time.

I’m thinking Rays, Rangers, Dodgers, Reds(?), Braves(?), and I don’t know who else. Any input will help since I haven’t really followed baseball closely this year. Should I take one or more teams from the Angels/Tigers/Yankees/Brewers/etc camp that has underperformed and might go on a tear?

What’s rare is he consistently stays around 93-94 the first few innings and towards the end of the game is averaging 97-99. That just blows my mind.

scripty – i think your probably right, but i am holding out hope that the indians spend some money when the opportunity presents itself. Maybe watching the continued successes of Lee and Sabathia will make them be a little less shy this time around. Cabrera is extended, but if he keeps it up they’d be stupid not to resign him after 2014.

The exciting thing about the Indians right now is they are young and are trending the way people in the organization thought they would. With the exception of the injuries that really slowed them down, the tribe was a little early to the party last year. This year and the next 2-3 or so should be very telling for how much this organization really values winning and competing at a high level.
