Most of the rugby shirts you see are just expensive polos sold by companies like Ralph Lauren.
Real rugby shirts are expensive because all the seams are double and triple stitched, the buttons are rubber, and the elbows and shoulders are reinforced.
When I golf, I wear a pair of plain khaki shorts I got a Old Navy, and is their version of the DriFit tech.

i was just being an asshole because i do agree…it’s golf. the only reason they charge $110 for a solid color polo is because there are dumbasses that will pay it. OOO, IT’S GOT A STRIP OF BURBERRY PLAID ON THE SLEEVE…THAT’S WORTH 800% MARKUP.

I wasn’t a real big believer in golf shorts until last summer. now I’ll never go back. the one recommendation I can make is to try them on (tough since you are ordering on-line) and sit down in them with some tee’s, ball repair tool, marker in your pockets. there is nothing worse than a pair of shorts that can’t keep shit in the pockets.
