this guy had 30 kids with 11 different women
So…you’re woman #9 of 11. You’ve probably heard through the grapevine that this guy is cattin’ around. He’s got no loot, nor prospects for making cash. Not making child support payments to the other babies’ mamas.
And, you still get involved with him? Really???
Some folk never get “un-stupid”.

Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees, dead at 62
R.I.P.
More than just a disco singer. In interviews from the 70s through the 00′s, he and his brothers admitted they really wanted to sound more like R&B groups like Kool & the Gang or the Spinners.

thanks for this link. I visited Sequoia National Forest in CA a number of times when I lived out West so I found this pretty compelling. Lumber is the new alumninum siding, apparently.

this doesn’t shock me. I’ve been saying that this girl has an eating disorder, and you need to run around in the shower to get wet.

Nice round up pic, she’s sweet.

Yep, this happened to me awhile ago. You think you’re doing your best to hold to keep the curse words down, but those kids have ears like bats. They listen to the shit they shouldn’t be and don’t listen to the things they should. Like standing at the top of the stairs yelling “Dinner’s ready!” about 3-4 times and then he appears 10 minutes later, “Why did you guys start eating without me?!?!”

the local news here in Jax interviewed a teacher who wrote one of the essay questions on a whiteboard for the news…the question had something to do with a camel (the animal, not the cig). her justification for why some 4th graders failed that question is they didn’t know what a camel was.

School administrators have been deemed evil by the GOP and this is huge byproduct when teachers have to take attention away from education and put it toward administrating.

shitty parenting and schools having more administrators than they know what to do with, not worth the 6 figure salary they make, is a huge problem.
the anger the GOP put on teachers and the teachers union here in NJ would have been better served had they directed it towards the glut of administrators.

Standardized testing story: My high school class was the first to take the Ohio standardized classes. Back then they didn’t have a good handle on how long to give students to take the class. They gave you like 2.5 hours for each of four 45-60 minute tests. I heard some teachers talking that a student couldn’t be forced to make up any work missed due to the testing though.
I had this calculus class I was scuffling in that was during my test time. So I sat there using the full 2.5 hours for all my 4 tests, triple checking all the work (avoiding the calculus class). I ended up being one of 100 (approx) Ohio students to get 100% on all four tests and a perfect grade on the essay/writing piece. I didn’t have to make up all that calculus and I used that tidbit to get a handful of smaller $500-$1000 local scholarships for college.

It really is. It’s a nice mix of cartel vs cartel vs the police. A shit storm troika playing out in front of the world, yet you never hear major U.S. politicians talk about how to fix it. It’s almost as if they choose to ignore it and hope it goes away.

A mobile site is a breeze. My assumption is they don’t know how best to integrate their advertising/ad network. Haven’t seen an ad in years on here, so I have no idea what they’re currently doing. I would assume that the USAToday acquisition will remedy this sooner or later. The site ownership/leadership changes in the last couple of years probably haven’t helped.

/Don’t let your girl get burrelled
//How was TBL Philly?
May 21st, 2012 at 9:36 AM
Well, we could legalize weed and cut out a big portion of their funds. Coke is still a money maker, but it’s harder to produce. Most of the violence is cartel and cartel thanks to the push back by Calderon, but as stated above, the fact that cops have to hide their faces when they go on TV is something out of a Mad Max movie. That country is so beyond fucked up right now, but our policies are doing nothing to help alleviate the situation.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:37 AM
I’m pretty surprised something like this hasn’t happened already. cartels obviously don’t give a fuck, it would seem like a resort would be easy pickings.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:37 AM

I don’t think the libs are worried about pissing off the latin/hispanic vote as surely they don’t want 50 headless bodies dumped in the streets where they came from either.
The fact that they don’t have an App is mind numbing. The fact that they don’t have a mobile site (cheap and easy to do) is just laughable, if not pathetic. Now that’s not a Jace issue, as the higher ups run the show, but why they don’t have a mobile site is a real mystery. I never go to this site from a mobile device as it takes a year and half to load.

From the pic I saw, Gonzo looked just as creepy as I remember him. Also, whoever took the initiative to pick up Spence and hold him for the group shot was a genius.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:40 AM
i’ve always wondered what level of funding and manpower is committed to stopping weed in comparison to the more destructive drugs (meth, heroin, coke)
you’d have to assume legalizing weed would free up manpower and funds to wage a more effective battle against the serious drugs.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:41 AM
He did not want to wear that Red Sox shirt, let me tell you.

May 21st, 2012 at 9:42 AM
They’re not killing without a purpose, though. Going after a resort brings outside heat on them as the countries of those citizens killed would all of a sudden have to care. If you just kill Mexicans, no other country gets hot and bothered. The only way a resort gets attacked is if a target (i.e. another cartel member, or a high ranking cop…or apparently a journalist) is staying there. They’re not just killing random tourists unless I’m mistaken. Usually those deaths are what they would call collateral damage.

It would also fuck with all the contractors in the arms industry that get cash windfalls from police departments for the war on drugs, their lobbyists will not be pleased.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:46 AM
I made it sound a lot more fun than it was.
Drunk girl from next tailgate comes over (I think chasing a wiffle ball). We exchange pleasantries, Jay asks her how she’s doing, then she sees me and my brother in Boston gear, makes a comment, and doesn’t come back.

When Jay and I went back to my car after the game, their car was long gone. I think they just came down for the tailgating. They were the worst of the “have at me bro” crowd.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:48 AM
Same way with the incarceration industry as it relates to weed. There’s money to be made by locking people up.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:49 AM
I think my brother in law is cray for booking his honeymoon in Mexico at the end of the year. Granted its on the other side of the country (Riveria Mya) but I too can see some attack on a resort in the future. My advice to him was stay on the resort, no need to go outside.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:50 AM
She did not seem like she was winning that bizarre dizzy bats drinking game they were playing over there.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:50 AM
hopefully in a decade it will be legalized, taxed, regulated and states will be pulled out of the red and into the black.
i’m surprised there hasn’t been a bigger lobbying effort from big tobacco to have it legalized since they already have an operation in place to implement the manufacturing and sale and could quickly capture the market with their current distribution
May 21st, 2012 at 9:51 AM
Doing shots out of the wiffle bats should’ve been a dead giveaway.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:52 AM
Did this tailgate take place in the sixteen hundreds?
May 21st, 2012 at 9:53 AM
I honestly don’t know much about it at all, just seems like something that would eventually happen. seems to me like that whole situation is something the US wants to avoid at all costs.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:53 AM
I don’t think it happens that soon, but who knows. If more people like this judge express this opinion, at the very least medical marijuana should be legal by then.
They are in fact doing just that, but they’re very quiet about it.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:54 AM
I wondered how that would look…joints sold in cigarette looking packs? I would assume law enforcement would need to develop some kind of field sobriety test to see of driver are “under the influence”. I suppose just putting a bag of taco bell in front of someone and seeing how fast that food is eaten would do the trick. Not sure if it would stand up in court tho
May 21st, 2012 at 9:55 AM
yeah, but weed offenses are short term, and in a lot of states with over population problems they are typically released early anyway
May 21st, 2012 at 9:55 AM
A little research, and I see that the closest was ’01 Lakers at 16-1.

May 21st, 2012 at 9:57 AM
Hahaha…she was indeed ripe for the picking…
May 21st, 2012 at 9:57 AM
They wouldn’t sell them like cigarrettes. They’d just run the grow ops and the distribution. Then there would be the equivalent of micro breweries but for weed for the higher end stuff. The tax money would be enormous and the money saved from prosecuting offenders and stopping the weed from coming into the states could be better spent on other things like securing the border or building better schools. But yeah…we don’t need any of those things so we might as well keep on keepin’ on.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:58 AM
But the judges, lawyers, prisons and probation officers all make a living thanks in large part to those sentences.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:00 AM
Slow your roll with the Spurs going undefeated! The Jazz and Clips aren’t exactly world beaters. No chance OKC wins less than 2 games in the WCF either. (7-1 v. Dal/LAL > 8-0 v. Utah/LAC)

Link to the picture, please. I barely checked twitter this weekend.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:01 AM
it’s easy, essentially making it legal to smoke at home or in designated areas. smoking in a moving vehicle is illegal, driving with an open package/container of weed is illegal.
expensive permits for people who want to grow their own that are required to be renewed every year, even more expensive licenses for stores that want to sell it and you take the same approach as pharmacies selling Meth ingredients. ID required, must be tracked, etc.
it can be done.

May 21st, 2012 at 10:05 AM
So how does Larry Kramer taking over USA Today affect this place?
May 21st, 2012 at 10:05 AM
Yeah, it’s not like 50% of all court cases are pot-based.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:06 AM
Sorry, just trying to cut down on spam. And not have every tweet be found on google when you do a search on my name.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:06 AM
I love how simple this is, yet when politcos talk about it they make it sound like cold fusion.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:07 AM
Seriously???? No, I am holding Spence.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:07 AM

Can I just say, that she was smoking in Footloose. So naturally TBL chooses the worst picture of her possible.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:08 AM
So who’s the one on the far left?
May 21st, 2012 at 10:08 AM
I’m loving this meme.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:08 AM
Yall should be holding name tags
May 21st, 2012 at 10:09 AM
Oh…it’ll affect their bottom line for sure. Trust me.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:09 AM
This is the one time I will say I like something about facebook more than twitter – the ability to tag people in pictures so you know who’s who.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:09 AM
And not of your real names, your commenter names
May 21st, 2012 at 10:10 AM
I’m on the far right of the pic, squinting (I always squint in pics when it’s bring out). Jay is holding St. Bear’s son, Gonzo is photo bombing, dewar is in the blue Phillie shirt, St. Bear in the Red Sox jersey.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:10 AM
I hope Gonzo was wearing sunscreen.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:11 AM
This pic is a bad combo of staring into the sun and heavy eyes from drinking.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:12 AM
so the states cut their jobs, save more money on the state budget. ask any state right now what they would rather have, too many employees doing a job fewer employees could do and more tax revenue, or more short time offenders taking up room and public money to keep imprisoned and in the system?
May 21st, 2012 at 10:12 AM
Is dewar’s kid in a Red Sox jersey? I DEMAND TO KNOW WHAT WENT WRONG.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:13 AM
I will also humblebrag that St.Bear and I gave Dewar & Mantis a good ol’ fashioned whipping in cornhole or baggo or whatever everybody else calls the game where you toss beanbags through a hole.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:14 AM
I’m not disagreeing with you, I’m just saying that those who will be affected have the means to lobby hard to keep the status quo.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:16 AM
I love this game. Played it the past two weekends. Do y’all have the wooden boards or the plastic ones?
May 21st, 2012 at 10:16 AM
Democracy definitely has its drawbacks

My idea to have everyone take off their shades so that faces could actually be recognizable. I’ll be posting some additional pictures tonight.
Oh, by the way, phillymantis shall henceforth be known as PreparationH. Likes to prepare and plan well in advance, and his name begins with an H. So that was easy. Besides, it gets rid of multiple mantises here.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:16 AM
I hadn’t drank enough to beat you…
Also somebody has my black tailgate chair…
May 21st, 2012 at 10:17 AM
No, that wasn’t my son. I was sans child on Saturday.
Rematch later this summer!
May 21st, 2012 at 10:17 AM
i agree, there will be a fight, but with most states in the red and more and more states de-criminalizing weed possession, it’s getting the right kind of foothold to happen.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:17 AM
Horseshoes is better but bags is mobile
May 21st, 2012 at 10:17 AM
Is dewar’s kid in a Red Sox jersey?

May 21st, 2012 at 10:18 AM
I looked, and it’s not with me.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:20 AM
Gonzo has been referring to it as his “sweet, new La-Z-Boy”.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:20 AM
Also somebody has my black tailgate chair…
I don’t either.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:21 AM
The 1982 Sixers went 12-1. That was the old standard.

Washers is my favorite tailgating game personally. Or just drink.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:22 AM
An unprecedented number of cargo shorts in that pic. Yeesh.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:22 AM
Agree. The economics are where they need to be for people to finally look into what de-criminalizing weed.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:22 AM
Hahahaha. Quite possibly…
May 21st, 2012 at 10:22 AM
Hells yeah. I’d also be up for a golf outing. I need an excuse to get out on the course.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:23 AM
Bags and a football is usually our go-to.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:24 AM
This is my go-to.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:25 AM
I don’t think its too far off to think a cartel might unwisely pick a fight here with a slaughter of civilians, possibly just inside the border. That would bring on a militarized shit storm they’d rue. It would also get that wall done in about 2 weeks.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:26 AM
while i didn’t enjoy wearing a red sox shirt, i had a blast playing with those beanbags*.
*no homo
May 21st, 2012 at 10:26 AM

May 21st, 2012 at 10:26 AM
mole…saw that link you sent on FB this am. great way to start off the morning.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:27 AM
That’s why they don’t do it. They’re not stupid. They know that as long as they keep their murders on the right side of the border, the U.S. will continue to pay them little attention.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:27 AM
Who’s the tall rapist in back?
May 21st, 2012 at 10:28 AM
Maybe it was that stupid Phillies fan girl that St Bear scared off

May 21st, 2012 at 10:31 AM
That actually would make sense, but it’s probably dewar who has it.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:33 AM

May 21st, 2012 at 10:35 AM
GABBO!
May 21st, 2012 at 10:37 AM
we have a deal like that for our football tailgates. two golf balls with a foot or so of string tying them together, and a three-level pvc stand with points attributed to each one. I guess it’s called ladder golf
not as much fun as washers or baggo though
May 21st, 2012 at 10:39 AM
Often called in PA “Amish horseshoes”
May 21st, 2012 at 10:41 AM
Which is interesting, because you would think “Amish horseshoes” would be real horseshoes.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:42 AM
i find the amish’s AWFULLY convenient stance on equine technology to be a bit hypocritical.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:43 AM
Ok since no one posted this….
PAUL KINSEY IS A HARE KRISHNA. I laughed when I saw that.
Also- Don is a legend. The thing he did at the Jag dealership is what makes him a God.
May 21st, 2012 at 11:22 AM
“Of course this is the case, but as long as idiots like William Bennett are listened to, weed will be seen as the great devil.”
While I agree that Bennett is very wrong on the drug war, the idea that there’s a difference between Reps and Dems on this subject is laughable. I urge you to trek over to reason.com and do a little reading on the broken promise that is Obama’s actions in the Drug War, especially with respect to going after state level legal medical MJ providers.
There were only two candidates for President this year that would put an end to this nonsense, and they were both Reps. One of them, Gary Johnson, is now the Libertarian party’s nominee.

based on the way that the NBA playoffs are talked about it can’t possible be 18 straight wins, because playoff basketball is a different game than regular season basketball!!!!
/guy who’s tired of basketball being referred to as two different sports
