To Get Excited for Pacers-Heat, Here’s Leandro Barbosa’s Wife, Samara Felippo, a Brazilian Actress

Leandro Barbosa was a terrific mid-season acquisition by the Pacers, and the guard who never met a shot he didn’t like is off to a nice start against the Heat. He’s scored 17 points in two games, and completely destroyed Mario Chalmers anytime the two have been matched up.

Barbosa, 29, was a dynamic scorer off the bench on a couple of those Steve Nash-Amare teams in Phoenix, including the 06-07 team that probably would have been in the Finals except for the Robert Horry foul that led to game five suspension of Amare for leaving the bench.

Also, Barbosa is married to Brazilian actress Samara Felippo. Game three is at 7 pm. Must-win for the Heat, right?

I hear the prostitutes are better looking than the regular girls in Brazil. And the average Brazilian girl especially in the big cities like Sao Paolo and Rio aren’t great looking. You have to go hunting in the small towns for the stunners.

speaking of brazillian things, did yall know that brazil nuts always rise to the top in the various mixes they’re included in? because they’re so large, they don’t fall down the crevasses and the smaller items fall down the crevasses the brazil nuts create. the more you know.

The Brouwer Fixed-Point Theorem is an interesting little theorem that requires two piece of paper. Put one on top of the other. Then pick up that top one and and crumple it mercilessly. Throw it down on the bottom piece of paper again. On that top piece of paper, no matter how it was crumpled, and no matter where it was put on the bottom piece of paper, there is at least one point that is on the exact same spot it was before the top paper was crumpled.

Barbosa also has 4 DNPs in games against the Heat, and Chalmers is only averaging 5 ppg in those games. So Chalmers actually scores more when Barbosa plays.

We are doing Buzios in Brazil because we will need some relax beach time after the wedding. Then Buenes Aires, and finally wine country in Mendoza. Would not trade that beach time in though, that’s key.
