Charles Barkley and Shaq Took Their Shirts Off on Inside The NBA

Ever wonder what it would look like if Shaq lost some weight and painted on abs? Last night on Inside the NBA, that question was answered as Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley went topless as part of a shirt-off / weight-loss competition. The competition resulted in such memorable gifs as Hoopz doing a back flip off Shaq’s abs and Charles Barkley using a Shake Weight on air. The segment also gave Barkley a chance to break out some real talk about motivation and getting in shape. Listen to Sir Charles, America. Even if you have to paint on your own abs.

No one reads the posts. The abs are painted on. No one reads the comments either. *shrugs*

And even with little shticks like this, Inside the NBA is waaaaaay better than anything ESPN ever puts out for NBA coverage.
Also, a little OT, but how good are the BIG commercials for the Celtics and the Spurs? LOVE both those ads. Props to the NBA.

I know we’ll have a balling post, but wow, what an awful, awful game that Miami/Indiana game was. I don’t watch a ton of NBA, and games like that remind me why. Bad shooting, sloppy offense, horrendous inconsistent and subjecting refereeing. Barf.

That’s why Shaq wouldn’t let anybody touch him. He was trying to say that he was just covering up his tattoos.

Oops.
Yeah… yeah that’s my excuse as well. Also, continuing my streak of only skimming NBA posts.

Why does the lead splash page reference the Indiana – Miami series being tied, then lead to a post about Dwayne Wade’s flagrant foul?

Shaq should be euthanized for the benefit of everyone.

Sounds like you are describing college basketball. Although if that had been a college game, the anti NBA crowd would certainly be extolling the virtues of hustle, teamwork and defense. Much like LeBron James, the NBA can’t win.
