Very low risk, much like the TO signing a few years ago. He’s replacing Tyler Thigpen as the backup for crissakes. And if he can beat out Fitz, even better. People are worrying about Fitz fearing for his job, after the way he played in the 2nd half last year he should be fearing for his job.

Hes a guy that can give you a good game here and there, but I dont ever seem him being consistent for long stretches unless its consistently bad.

Vince Young seems like a reasonable and relatively low risk alternative as he is about to turn age 29Man, time flies. This may be Young's last/best chance to prove that he can be a viable QB that you can depend on for long stretches.
