NFL Injury News: Browns’ 2011 First Round Pick Phil Taylor Has Pectoral Injury, Da’Quan Bowers Has Torn Achilles
A couple of notable defensive injuries have come out today regarding two players selected in last year’s draft. Browns first round pick DT Phil Taylor suffered a pectoral injury today while working out at the team facility. According to Mary Kay Cabot, it is feared to be a torn pectoral and they are awaiting results of the MRI.
Meanwhile, Da’Quan Bowers was thought to be an elite talent entering last year’s draft, but teams shied away because of concerns over his knee injury history. He slipped to Tampa Bay in the second round. Today, Adam Schefter announced that Bowers suffered a torn Achilles on the practice field during the offseason workouts.

The Bucs will continue to be terrible.

The Bucs also cut Jordan Jefferson. He was a Buccaneer for a whole 4 days.

I sent something to TBL about this a while ago. Vernon Davis’ brother murdered someone with a hammer

Hey Lisk… is Bowers the one that dropped in our mock so far that you just started emailing everyone “you’re on the clock and Bowers is available”?

Can we get a “today in comments” post in the PM? That would really help me a lot. I haven’t been here for a RoundUp in months.

Have any of the Baylor Bear first rounders panned out? Seems like there were two OLinemen that went in the first round in the past 5 years, and both of them flamed out. Jason Smith and some other dude.
RGIII and Kendall Wright will, hopefully, keep the trend going.

I’m on CDT, so by the time I settle in at work the Roundup is usually 100 comments deep, if not more. I rarely bother to start any conversations there, it’s usually too far advanced. I wait for the first football or baseball post of the day before I get involved.

Clearly a result of the shortened NBA season.

I’m on Team Cleveland. Major League is my favorite sports film, the Cleveland episode of No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain is my favorite episode, Harvey Pekar is a legend, they have the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and great food. Plus, it seems like people from New York take special joy in making fun of Cleveland, which pisses me off. Go Cleveland.
/though, Indians fans can be pretty annoying. Next time I read the phrase “Break up the Tribe!” I’m gonna go on a murder spree.

So in a gangbang scenario, you’re cranking it in the corner until it’s time for penetration…no sense in getting involved in that pterodactyl action.

I guess that means the 49ers are a thug team.

I’ve been trying to think of a way to respond to this, and I just can’t find one.

I will watch at least 15 minutes of this year Tour de France this year, Ballz. Might even take in F2 race or something or other. Anyways….

It’s on my invisible “to do” list.

If you actually do watch a stage of the Tour de France, make it a mountain stage. And also, watch and F1 race. Not an F2 race. (actually called F2000)

This is either sarcasm or one of the more egregious Duckworths we’ve had in quite some time.

It’s right beneath “Shave head”.
