Andre Iguodala Thought About His Son While Shooting the Free Throws That Eliminated 1-Seed Chicago
The top seed in the Eastern Conference has been eliminated as the Philadelphia 76ers finished their upset of the Derrick Rose-less Chicago Bulls. Andre Iguodala scored 20 points to lead all scorers. His two free throws with 2.2 seconds tied the game and put the Sixers up for good. Iggy’s free throws came seconds after Omer Asik bricked two that could have extended Chicago’s lead.
In the post game interview, Iguodala told Cheryl Miller that it was easy because he was thinking about his son. (video upcoming) Later at the press conference, Doug Collins brought his grandson. It’s a good day to be a kid in Philly.
