Nike had this ball a few years ago, the TA2-SPN which I found cheap on clearance and really liked. Also gave in and used a sleeve of the Gamer D2 balls we gave away at our wedding, and they weren’t bad for cheap ones.

ty…you’re right, feel’s just subjective tho. i prefer the way the pd soft and nxt tour feels compared to the nike x20i and tour d balls…but the premium ones have more spin, no matter how they feel.

id LOVE LOVE LOVE this. honestly, i don’t know why nike doesn’t make a run at the hogan golf name…they’re in FW and have some ex-hogan employees already there.

mizuno needs to make balls. everything else they do is pure gold, so why not?

no point really…same reason they don’t try harder to break into the driver/woods/hybrid market. their niche is irons and wedges, where they have a nice presence…dance with the horse that brought you, or however the saying goes.

That’s actually what I usually play. I like it better than the DT Solo, and am not a good enough golfer that spending $30 – $50 on a dozen balls is going to make a differerence in my game.
