Carolina Panthers backup quarterback Jimmy Clausen recently took to Twitter to complain about an apparent awful haircut he received at widely heralded national haircut chain, Supercuts. Sadly, so far at least, Jimbo has yet to post a photo of the botched hair, though it is nice to see Supercuts extend the olive branch and offer to make amends.

While we patiently await the presumably harrowing evidence, I would like to recommend that Jimmy make things easier on himself and ditch haircuts entirely in favor of returning to that unmistakeable “Chucky meets Ostrich” look he sported during the majority of his time at Notre Dame. I would also like to ask why a professional athlete — hell, a professional anything — would choose Supercuts to have their precious locks trimmed. It’s 10 dollars for a haircut, sure, but Flowbees have even proven, allegedly, to offer better results.

The lesson here? If the haircut chain you are considering for your next appointment is commonly seen in malls, make a new consideration; then give yourself a wedgie.
