Here’s the Harvard Baseball Team Singing Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe”
All, Baseball, College Athletics, Video May 9th. 2012, 1:24pm
A van full of Harvard baseball players did their own version of a Carly Rae Jepsen song called “Call Me Maybe.” (She’s apparently from Canadian Idol.) To their credit, the video features a red herring in the one sleeping teammate. I felt like Homer Simpson when the mob war was happening on his front lawn. I just knew that as soon as I turned the video off that little guy was going to do something and you know it’s going to be good.

UConn women’s basketball team did this also. It was all over the news in CT. They went all over the place in Storrs to do it.

Carly Rae’s video for this song is actually humorous with a twist at the end.

At my knowledge of the video or the actual video itself?

LIke KingGrizz said, women love this song so I have heard it ad nauseum and watched the video for it.
I’m making up for it tonight. Seeing Edward Shape and magnetic Zeros down in the city.

We do? By the sounds of it, girls like this song, not women. Still not understanding you watching music videos.. you are trying to impress some lass?
May 9th, 2012 at 2:08 PM
Impress probably isn’t the right word, but at least observe, discuss, and mock the content as a shared conversation piece probably is closer to it.
May 9th, 2012 at 2:10 PM
this. I think it’s an awful song.
May 9th, 2012 at 2:12 PM
We do?
It came on the ipod during my derby party on Saturday and the female contingent (aged 22-32) went nuts. Though that could have been because everyone was drunk.
May 9th, 2012 at 2:13 PM
There is little debate the song is awful. But some people view it as one of those guilty pleasure songs that suck but is gitchy at the same time. We don’t have to view every song with our spencer glasses on all the time.

Because you said babe, babe.

This is CRAP. I gave you the exclusive first look at the ORIGINAL–the UNC Women’s LAX team–and you sat on it. This is crapola comparatively.
