I was a Mets batboy from 2006-08 (and a Yankee fan!) and I gave out my number multiple times to chicks sitting in the stands.
She was def giving hers out…my guess was to a player.

A few times it did. Drinks at a hotel bar close to shea a few times. One time a little action.
Funny story: Had my number written on a ball and had scouted out a chick to give it to, but the ball boy didn’t realize what my plans were and threw the ball to a kid in the first row. The father probably thought that kid was a creep, haha.
