i follow the browns and every bit of golf i can, but ohio state football is about state pride man. and i enjoy recruiting because it’s a nice primer as to some of tomorrow’s stars.

I kinda like this. After how bad last season went I know very little going into this one other than we didn’t lose much more than McNutt and Reiff. JVB is back and like I said, senior QBs help Kirk win. I don’t pay attention to college football until around mid-August.

every team regresses, no matter what. when FSU was batting 1.000 for the decade in terms of top 5 finishes, i never EVER thought they’d slide back down while bowden was there. it happens to every coach, no matter what. happened to carroll, urban, paterno, bowden, etc.

The Hawkeyes could be OK this year. I’m not saying they’ll win 10 games or anything but 8 or 9 isn’t inconceivable. They play better when expectations are low. Plus, Ferentz is due for a solid season. Senior QBs usually give him a shot at breaking 8 wins.

I read this and all I could think of was how much Kirk is paid. Dude has the best agent in the business. No one is even close.
