Video: Derrick Rose Will Get an MRI Following His Latest Injury
To call Derrick Rose injury-plagued would be an understatement. Rose was supposed to be healthy(ish) for the playoffs, but it didn’t last long. Late in Chicago’s game 1 victory over the 76ers, Rose planted to jump and appeared to seriously hurt his knee. We don’t know the extent of the injury yet, but a lot of Internet Doctors think it looks like a hyperextension, which would be very bad for Rose and the Bulls. Rose has been taken to the hospital for an MRI.

And that right there is Miami’s ticket to the NBA Finals.
April 28th, 2012 at 4:04 PM
Miami was going anyway. Good thing the bulls were minus 1000 for the series or i might have taken them. I took celtics and lakers both minus 200-some

Worst MVP in league history.
April 28th, 2012 at 4:06 PM
Going to win, that is

Nash in 2006 was pretty bad.

The Rose haters are silly.
April 28th, 2012 at 4:24 PM
Not that Jekyll’s trolling even deserves serious response, but last season, Carlos Boozer played 59 games, Joakim Noah played 48 games, and the team was almost entirely new (Deng, Gibson, Noah, and Rose were the only guys still on the team from ’09-’10). It was a new roster, coach, and system, and the team was shorthanded for the majority of the year. Keith Bogans was the starting two guard.
Rose carried the team the entire regular season. Without him, the Bulls maybe win 25 games. Maybe.

Well, this game is being called very fairly.
April 28th, 2012 at 4:36 PM
In a related story, Lebron James just slightly pushed off JR Smith and flopped out of bounds. Two more free throws, obviously.
April 28th, 2012 at 4:40 PM
HOLY FUCK LEBRON JAMES IS A GODDAMN VAGINA.
April 28th, 2012 at 4:43 PM
Fantastic job by Thibs. We saw this year that he doesn’t make his team any better.
April 28th, 2012 at 4:53 PM
Agreed that Thibs should win COY again. But of course we are talking about a new year after an entire season/postseason in the system? With much improved play from Kyle Korver, Carlos Boozer, Luol Deng, CJ Watson, Omer Asik, and John Lucas? It’s as if you think this season = last season. It wasn’t even close, and they still won 62 games last year. Even this year, with the improved team and more time under Thibs, the winning percentage with Rose is .821, without him .667.
Saying “worst MVP in league history” is fucking idiotic.
April 28th, 2012 at 4:54 PM
Jekyll youre a fuckin moron.
April 28th, 2012 at 4:54 PM
God fucking damn I hate Lebron James. That fucking pussy flopped like a bitch.
The referees are planning to make all the Knicks players sit with 6 fouls.
April 28th, 2012 at 4:58 PM
Lebron is a flopping bitch? In other news, the bobcats suck and the sky is blue
April 28th, 2012 at 4:59 PM
CELTICS!
April 28th, 2012 at 5:01 PM
You realize history goes back further than 5 years, right? I mean, Wes Unseld won an MVP
April 28th, 2012 at 5:05 PM
The Basketball gods are smiling down on the heat right now. With Rose out you can replace the 17 forced shot attempts he was undoubetdly going to jack with clean jumpers within the flow of the offense. I hope he is okay, but i also hope he misses some time. let those guys play better team ball.
April 28th, 2012 at 5:05 PM
I feel so robbed right now. I was really looking forward to this Heat-Knicks game. Unreal poor refereeing and flopping has blown it open.
Here’s hoping it ends up being a good finish, but it’s not looking good.
April 28th, 2012 at 5:08 PM
This is hands down the worst called game I’ve ever seen.
ANOTHER Lebron flop on Carmelo for the offensive foul, and then a T on Melo for passing the ball to a ref.
WHAT IN THE FUCKING FUCK.
April 28th, 2012 at 5:09 PM
And this fucking moron just replaced Jekyll as idiot of the day. You cannot possibly watch the Bulls ever and draw this conclusion. I mean holy shit this is bad.
April 28th, 2012 at 5:14 PM
Pop! There goes the knee. See you next year Derrick.
April 28th, 2012 at 5:17 PM
Yeah…
April 28th, 2012 at 6:37 PM
He had no business being out there! No Business!

Also, why do people actually think the Knicks had a shot? They lost all 3 games against the Heat in the reg. season with an average of 12 points or something.
