The Nationals Will Place Ryan Zimmerman on the DL and Recall Bryce Harper
In a bold attempt to move the needle and our hearts, the Washington Nationals have put plans in motion to place third baseman Ryan Zimmerman on the 15-day disabled list and call up magnificent antagonist, Bryce Harper. He will make his Major League Baseball debut, where else, in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium. This is perfect on about 6,302 different levels.
The 19-year-old Harper is hitting .250 with one home run at Class AAA Syracuse, flashing an OPS of .780, which is exactly 184 points higher than the OPS of that rotund fellow playing first base for the Angels.
