Mel Kiper Politely Ripped the Patriots’ 2nd Round Selection of Tavon Wilson
The Patriots need to improve their secondary, so Bill Belichick went out and drafted … Tavon Wilson? Who? He’s a safety from Illinois.
There was lots of head scratching after the Patriots made the pick in the second round. If you look at the ratings on this ESPN page, everyone drafted so far has been in the 90s or 80s or 70s … Wilson is rated 32nd. He probably could have been had as an unrestricted free agent.
Mel Kiper was … perplexed by the section, to put it mildly. [vid via Intern Mike]

Bill Belichick has more talent evaluation expertise in one super bowl ring finger than Mel Kiper has overall. I’ll take the hoodie’s word for it
