Amare Stoudemire Dunked on Tyrus Thomas and the Charlotte Bobcats Are Officially the Worst NBA Team, Ever
While not quite the facial Stoudemire delivered to Anthony Tolliver a few years ago, this jam on Tyrus Thomas was impressive. The Knicks – minus starters Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler – put on a dunking exhibition and rolled over the Bobcats, 104-84. Charlotte ended the season 7-59 with 23 straight losses. Michael Jordan’s Bobcats truly are the worst.
A 7-59 record in this lockout-shortened season (a .106 winning percent) slips below the 1972-73 Philadelphia 76ers, who went 9-73 (.110). The Bobcats’ point-differential – minus-13.8 points per game heading into the finale – was the second-worst since the NBA’s merger with the American Basketball Association in 1976. Only the 1992-93 Dallas Mavericks were worse, with a minus-15.2 point-differential.
New York’s win plus Philadelphia’s loss means the Knicks will open the playoffs against the Heat. We’ll have a full playoff rundown with picks and later.

Think the 76s can give the Bulls some problems if Rose has some rust and they have issues offensively. It could also be over in 5 pretty easily.
Knicks win at most 1 game, even that’s doubtful.

when does someone tell jordan to just stop, go enjoy your wealth. his competitiveness is now off-putting
speaking of competitiveness, lebron says not winning a title will not make the season a failure….jordan would have gagged him with his headband

TBL – I think Amare’s greatest dunk is the one during his rookie year on Michael Olawakandi that induced the Steph Marbury Face.

Bulls are very lucky to avoid the Knicks in round 1.

who cares if you win the title at the end of the season as long as everyone says you’ll win it before the season.

Shouldn’t you have had bigleadsports.com contributor Amare Stoudamire write this post?

I agreed that was sick nasty. Remember where I was sitting when I saw that live.
Thinking that the Knicks win their first playoff game in a decade this postseason, but will have to wait at least one more year for their first series victory since 2000.

Knicks in 6. What made that dunk even more vicious is Thomas, who Blake is no better than according to some, had just finished talking to STAT a play or so before.

Or at least edit it:

It is so tragic that the comments were erased from that Amare – Tolliver dunk post.

Has there seriously been zero posts and/or links re the two game 7s last night?

Nasty dunk. Can’t believe he can jump again.
