NFL Draft: Trent Richardson 3rd, Matt Kalil 4th, Justin Blackmon to Jacksonville, Morris Claiborne to Dallas 6th, Mark Barron to Tampa
3. Cleveland (via Minnesota): Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama. Love Richardson, but don’t love that the Browns bought the rumors and gave up three late round picks (they did have 13 overall) to make sure nobody else got him. Loved Richardson in college, and I’ll be rooting for him in the pros. The Browns need to get a WR or he’s going to see more 8-man fronts than he did in the SEC.
4. Minnesota: Matt Kalil, OL, USC. Christian Ponder is thrilled. So is Adrian Peterson. Could have gone Claiborne, but there are several quality corners that could be had in the 2nd round.
5. Jacksonville (via Tampa): Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State. Brilliant move by the Jags to trade up and snag the best receiver in the draft. Help for Blaine Gabbert!
6. Dallas (via St. Louis): In a bit of a shocker, Dallas jumps up eight spots to grab LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne. A brilliant move for the Cowboys, who get the best corner in the draft. It was their primary need. Dallas had to give up its 2nd round pick.
7. Tampa (via Jacksonville): Mark Barron, Safety, Alabama. Bucs needed secondary help, land the best safety in the draft.

Invest in a good insurance policy, Trent. Make double-sure to add extra coverage for being dogpiled to death by 10-man fronts.

Are you from the future JMac? Or are the later picks just your predictions? Your post makes it sound like a done deal.

I liked Mark Barron better when he went to the Lions in the commenter draft…

Besides, I expected this was the viral marketing for the new NBC drama/thriller “Smedium”.
