Not sold on this pick with the Giants. So many needs.

He’ll be fine for the Giants. They’ll address other needs tomorrow and saturday. Just remember, nine guys they drafted last year played significant minutes for the team all season. That is surprising seeing as how the NY media killed Jerry Reese after the draft

Irvin is a much bigger reach and if Petey doesn’t have a good year and is let go by trigger happy Paul Allen he’ll be a skinny one dimensional player left without a fit. Jenkins will get under/overthrown by Alex Smith the same as those other two guys would have been.

To further rant, our running game sucked last year and now that Lynch is getting paid, he will take a step back. A guard such as hometowner Decastro would have been great. But he wasn’t good enough for us. He was only good enough for a team like Pitt where I’m sure he will be named but never play in several Pro Bowls.
