Memphis leads LA by 1/2 game, and almost certainly will beat hapless Orlando tonight to have home court advantage against the Clippers. Kind of feels like the Clippers went hard 2-3 weeks ago, but then went into cruise control over the last week.

Kobe definitely had an assistant totaling up Durant’s scoring so he knew exactly how much he needed to win the scoring title, right?
Kevin Durant finished at 28.030. If Kobe scores 38 tonight, he finishes at 28.034. If Kobe scores between 34 and 42, it will end as the closest race ever.

Not necessarily. You’re right on the first point, but they could end up as low as 8th if they get really unlucky.

9-11 million a year is what I figure. Which is fine. It would be just like taking Nashs contract and adding 4 years. That would still leave Phoenix with enough money to make a run at Gordon.

Did anyone see the way that Javale bumped Durant after that dunk? I’m shocked that there aren’t any Lakers fans in here shocked that KD didn’t viciously elbow Javale in the head. I mean, clearly, he was instigating and asking for it, and therefore deserved it.
