Steve Francis Has a Rap Video
This is Steve Francis’ new rap song, “Finer Things.” In related news, Steve Francis makes rap music now. The strange thing about this is that the didn’t try it when he was playing basketball. Perhaps Houston didn’t have music scene that encouraged athletes to get in the recording studio during his prime? I honestly wonder if the video girls know that Steve Francis was a professional basketball player, or if they just think he is a rapper named Steve?

I don’t know much about rap, like at all, but I do know that Houston is one of the major rap scenes in this country.

I think I speak for everyone when I say the rap community needs more people to represent what it’s like to sip champagne on a private plane that’s not moving.

What I remember most about Steve Francis’s career in Houston is from his rookie season. The Rockets were down 3 with less than 10 seconds left. A play had been set up for a chance at a 3 and a tie game. Francis instead drove the baseline with less than 10 seconds left and had an awesome dunk…and then the Rockets lost by 1 because all the other team had to do was throw the ball in and hold it.
If that isn’t an analogy for Francis’s entire career….

If this video taught me one thing, it’s that relationships based on jewlery, desinger clothing items, and private jets can in no way fail.

That rap is disrespectful to the rap game. I mean, i’m as real as the streets, ok? There is no way I’d whore out my rap skills, with a “Z”, to some adult Nerds Gone Wild.
