Some Philadelphia Flyers Went on Stage at a Nickleback Concert
The Flyers take the stage at the 1-minute mark. I don’t really get the love or hate for Nickleback. If they were a color? Beige. A car? A Honda Accord. Nickleback feels generic, and I probably couldn’t name four of their songs because … don’t they all sound alike? I simply switch the station. And I just checked my itunes … Nickleback-free zone.

Claude Giroux could show up at an Eagles game in a Cowboys jersey and people would just write it off to a Canadian being weird.
That’s how popular Giroux is right now in Philly.

Maybe it’s just because they were in the round-up, but Nickelback = Kardashians of the music world. Stupid rich, no significant talent, most people (?) hate them, and they apparently have some sort of following by people with whom I do not associate.

By the way, had a dream last night that Flyers had already won the Cup and I had completely missed it

HOW DARE YOU COMPARE NICKLEBACK TO THE TOP SELLING JAPANESE CAR FROM 1982-1997

How very Klostermanish. TBL was a mere mention of a one hit band’s lead singer from the 80s wearing a scarf away from total KLOSTERMAN.
He does make a valid point.

Dont get the Nickelback hate either. The vitriol they get should be reserved for emo bands like Good Charlotte and Fallout Boy. I agree with Klostermann about DMB though, their fans take themselves way too seriously.

Christ, yes. Went to school in Charlottesville and everybody’s an expert. Settle down, people. I like DMB, but they don’t end the Good Music Debate.

At least you name the golfers.

If Chad Krogeur looked like a nomral dude and not a DB, the hate wouldn’t be as strong.

So, no one on one with Giroux in your dreams, eh?

My first car was an ’89 Honda Accord with 150,000 miles. Stick, power everything, A/C that didn’t work, and a tape deck. Got rid of it with 190,000+ miles when I went to college.
