Gina Carano Could Star in Fast & Furious 6
Gina Carano is currently involved in talks to join the cast of Fast & Furious 6 (a.k.a. 6 Fast 6 Furious a.k.a. F6st Furiou6). If she joins, she’ll star alongside Paul Walker, Vin Diesel and The Rock. I know. It sounds like the greatest thing ever.
Gina will shoot Into the Blood sometime this year. Presumably followed by having some Fast & Furious 6 (say it out loud). I say, good for Gina. Fast Five was a non-stop thrill ride and if Justin Lin can make Gina glisten and wear a shirt as tight as The Rock did in the last movie, then this will be an absolute must-see. Fast Six already has a May 24, 2013 release date, so mark your calendars.

for some reason, i feel like vin daddy, the rock and luda would be the headliners. would she be the biggest star of the female cast members over michelle rodriguez and jordana brewster and that israeli chick? interesting…

Haven’t they milked this series to death already?
“Star” seems very stretched.

We need to take a few points away from CRM for not including that gif of Carano that is required each time a post is about her.

Once she takes her clothes off, she’ll be a real shooting star. Don’t ya know, yeeeeeeeeah.

I hope Fast 6 gets as much coverage on this site as Haywire did.

Poorly worded on my part; that’s what I meant. I was pleased to see the gif linked again.

Finally broke down and took a lesson. Changed my life. He altered my grip, swing path, weight transfer, all of it. I wanted to kiss him when we were done.

nice. tho be careful if/when you practice…remember everything he told you, but don’t practice all of it at once. start with getting grip and your routine for setting up to the ball down pat and it’ll pay huge dividends down the road.
if you don’t mind me asking, what’d he have you do?

“I lived in a mad tower above Trinity site, the day of my death the other dead came to visit me, and they said the bees would come to live there and the flying saucers so you will know that through the grace of God, the maker of people, his Son the saviour of the Christians and those bees who swarmed through the air that though you were dead you were born Zoltan Abbashid on July 11 1882. This was true.”

A supporting actress isn’t a “Star”. Stop talking sports or movies because you obviously don’t know either. Stick to what you know; Cock, Bravo Channel, Glee. Whatever you fruits like.

Not at all. I had a lot fucked up and we got to a lot of it, but certainly not all. Warning, it’s an ugly list.
(1) I apparently had a very weak grip, with both thumbs pointing straight down the shaft. What he taught me was a stronger grip with both index/thumb ‘v’s’ point toward my right eye/shoulder.
(2) As simple as it sounds, I wasn’t rolling my wrists over enough at impact so I wasn’t getting the club face square and everything tailed right. The stronger grip helped out a lot with that. I hit a draw on the range for the first time in two years.
(3) In combination with the club face open, my swing path was significantly too shallow and so when I came through the club path had a significant left-to-right in it and pushed my shots right.
(4) Not getting my weight to my front foot. It led to a lot of scooping and hitting behind the ball.
(1), (2), and (3) were actually pretty quick fixes. Still working on weight transfer. I still tend to hit behind and find myself leaning backward instead of forward.

1, 2 and 3 are the recipes for the push-slice (which, unfortunately, was the only shot i could fucking hit on sunday). it’s good that you absorbed what he wanted you to do, and the advice is pretty good.
i don’t want to fuck with your head and screw with your teacher’s advice, but one thing you always want to understand is that, regardless of technique, the initial direction of the ball is from the clubface and the direction it curves from the swingpath*.
*for example, i have a very weak grip (v’s point at my nose) and don’t roll my wrists because i want my hips to drag my torso, arms, hands and club thru impact. at impact, my left wrist is bowed/flat, my right wrist has bend and i don’t “release” until well after contact and still hit it straight. but my biggest problem is over-doing it with the weak grip, hence my weak shit on sunday…
in regards to weight transfer, here’s a great article. and if you check out robert rock’s swing, he almost doesn’t shift off his front side at all.
one thing i’d be careful of is the “rolling the wrists.” that will def square the clubface, but it’s dependent on timing and feel, and therefore is less consistent.
sounds like you’re on the right track tho…congrats. must’ve felt awesome to get a lesson and get some direction as to how to fix your problems. best of luck in the next coming weeks man.

If it wasn’t an outright shank, that is exactly what I would do.
Thanks. It just feels good to have some clue again.

Technique is overrated. Grip it and rip it.
