Phil Humber of the White Sox Threw the 21st Perfect Game in MLB History

Phil Humber of the Chicago White Sox just threw the 21st perfect game in Major League Baseball history. Humber stymied the Seattle Mariners, needing just 97 pitches (68 strikes) to face and retire all 27 hitters at Safeco Field. Humber finished with nine strikeouts.
It was the first no-hitter of the season and the first since May 2010, when Oakland’s Dallas Barden and Philadelphia’s Roy Halladay threw perfect games just 20 days apart. Humber is in his 7th season and has spent time with the Mets, Twins, Royals and now the White Sox.

When is valentine going to be fired?
April 21st, 2012 at 7:24 PM
This isnt even Bobby Valentine’s fault. This is on the terrible bullpen, GM, and executives for putting together such a terrible staff. Fuck all them for putting Daniel Bard in the rotation. Assholes. Cunts.

I feel bad for the guys in the field. They hit the shit out of the ball today, Doubront pitches great, and those dumb fuckers in the pen cant get people out.

This team is worse than last year’s slow starting team. If beckett and lester don’t get their acts together, boston will finish in last place. Book it.
April 21st, 2012 at 7:27 PM
This is incredible. I wish I could be in Boston for this.
