Video: Kevin Millar and Pedro Martinez Gave Hilariously Bad Fenway Toast
All, Baseball, Heavy (Alleged) Drinking, Video April 20th. 2012, 3:30pm
The Red Sox tried to set a Guinness World Record for largest toast. It didn’t go so well. There might have been some pre-toast drinking involved. Karim Garcia didn’t know what was coming. Millar might have revoked his free drinks for life pass in New England. I didn’t think that was possible.

Jesus, that set-up isn’t exactly helping to upset the ‘bloggers live in Mom’s basement’ bias.

Stay classy, Red Sox.

They still have TV’s shaped like boxes?

Everything about this entire organization is just awful.

Traina’s TV is a fitting metaphor for how much old media grasps/values the Internet.

Some pretty potent ‘grape fruit drink’ they have there…
April 20th, 2012 at 3:45 PM
Correction, it was ‘grape juice drink’ that they provided.

the most annoying part of this day is seeing the emotional outpourings of facebook friends about the ceremony.

I’m going with ‘how much Traina is paid.’

My son and I watched this. Funny that a guy more known for personality instead of accomplishment (Millar) got a mike, given the number of HOFers and others present in Red Sox jerseys.
“Sparkling grape juice was a nice touch”.
/not really

The shadows are something awful at the game.

what’s even funnier is that Millar was celebrated for making everyone drink jack daniels right before games in the 2004 ALCS yet pitchers drinking beer in their off days are vilified.

Of course the Yankees couldn’t be bothered to ditch the intertwined “NY” for even a day and go for an authentic throwback. Douchebags.
