Yeah, the hopslam is really expensive. And usually it’s impossible to find.

Often I am too drunk to finish it without incident. So I’ll walk it home and finish on the way. Nothing like waking up wearing a shirt covered in Guinness because you smuggled a half full pint under your coat and it spilled every time the cab stopped.

One of my old roommates does this every time we go out. Pint glasses or highballs, he just walks right out with it. Tried to bring a full drink from a bar into a strip club once, shockingly we were asked to leave. Puritans.

PA has odd laws. You can only buy 6-packs from bars from the most part, though places are starting to circumvent the law by becoming a de facto deli, and getting 6-pack licenses that way. Cases are definitely cheaper than buying 4 6-packs…but I paid $46 for a case of Bells Two Hearted earlier this week.

This made me laugh. I have friend that does this all the time. We’ll be walking to our next destination and he’ll pull a half full miller lite out of his coat pocket. He’s like a magician!
