I figured Xavier never had a chance to land this guy, but then he publicly said we were in his list of 6 along with Mizzou, UK, UNC, Duke and NC St. A big guy like him would’ve put us in the top 20 for sure, as our 1-3 are really good.

On another note, funny to watch UK fans on twitter meltdown over this, saying stuff like “Have fun not winning a ring at Mizzou next year.” Pretty sure the guy who has already won a ring at his previous school is more worried about his personal stats than getting another ring.

Flip and him were teammates in AAU or Prep school or something. This transfer was a foregone conclusion. Also, KU doesn’t want the taint of a player if he is considering Mizzou. Standards and whatnot.
