And their defense was absolute garbage the last two years. It always completely collapsed after half time under Wilcox, so I think anything is an improvement. I’m amazed so many schools came after him. I did not understand that at all.

He was great at Boise. Chris Petersen creates more jobs than Romney at this point. It’s amazing.

As for their success, with Dooley, honestly anything is possible. I wouldn’t be surprised if they win 8 or 9 games because the talent is there on offense, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they win 3 games and he gets fired midway through the season. His tenure has been a circus.

I’m not sure they’re all that talented though, and they have to deal with 3 of the best 15 defenses in the nation within their own division (UGA, UF and SoCar). Add that to Bama and Mizzou, and I just don’t see them having that great of a year, especially with the transition to the 3-4 on defense.

And Tenn will be 7-5 at best and then he, Da’Rick and Hunter are all gone. Tennessee is a sinking ship as long as Dooley is there I’m afraid. I’ve never seen a team lose 6 (or was it 7?) coaches in one off season. That shit is crazy.

More like, Bray COULD be a stud. I think Tenn is going to have a damn good passing attack this year, but Bray is far too stupid (as a football player) for my tastes. Having said that, watch him throw for 3,500 this year.

Nah, he’s not stupid. He just didn’t give a shit last year. He was obviously thinking his shit didn’t stink and thought he could just sling it and get by. I think Kentucky woke him up and he’s apparently doing all the right things since then. We’ll see.
