OJ Mayo is the Latest NBA Player to Take a Shot at the “Flopping” Clippers

So basically everyone in the West hates the Clippers now, right? DeMarcus Cousins took a jab at their defense last week, and earlier in the season the Paper Clips feuded with the Big Brother Lakers. It seems as if the backlash centers around Blake Griffin and all the calls he allegedly gets. Or is it because he tries to embarrass people by dunking on them? Here’s OJ Mayo Monday night after the Grizzlies beat the Clippers.

Looking ahead, it seems like the Clippers will play the Grizzlies in the first round of the playoffs. Blake Griffin vs. Zach Randolph. Mike Conley vs. Chris Paul. Rudy Gay vs. … oh damn, Caron Butler is going to get abused.

I think your quote re: Celtics/Heat from Ballin’ sums up the Clippers pretty well – “They didn’t win but they got the highlights.”

I gave up on The Killing. I have season 2 eps in my DVR and can’t bring myself to watch them. Also gave up on Alcatraz. The season finale is in my DVR, and there’s no desire to watch. Decent premise – shitty execution.

my wife’s new favorite show to watch every single night is River Monsters. That’s all she wants to watch. Does she care that me trying to hold 8 episodes of that (three of them 2 hours) fucks up my DVR, no? She wants to watch half of one every night, and then “save” the rest for tomorrow.
Meantime, the DVR’s got smoke coming out of it from all the shit I’m recording/deleting. It’s zany. Everything is just about to delete, right now, due to space, except fucking River Monsters.

that show is dumb. And that chick looked dumpy and/or downright fat the whole season. I’m sure in real life she’s a knockout, but she’s not built to be on TV.

Really brings to light just how important storytelling is to a television show. They had all the ancillary parts down pat, just couldn’t tell the fucking story.
Christ, give that premise and all of those actors to somebody who knows how to produce and it’d be AMC’s number one show*.
*AMC had this all this with Rubicon and of course nobody watched it.

I gave up on The Killing as well but I’m still reading recaps. Not so I can follow along but rather to see how bad it’s gotten. I have not been disappointed.

it is so bad. There is a vast, vast conspiracy in place to have framed the guy who was using underaged prostitutes, because that’s not damning enough evidence. They had to frame him for murder. Specifically, a murder so convoluted, he wasn’t even the 5th suspect the police found.
And the Russians are involved.

The first 3 hours of this season, I am not quite sure how the plot has moved at all. Couldve been done in the first half of the first episode. Just brutal.
