GEL…one thing that’s different is that the players overseas are more forthcoming with what’s going on in their lives and how they feel about other players. Not everyone is buddy-buddy like they are in American sports. Look how Balotelli acted last Saturday when he and Kolarov fought over who was going to take the free-kick. They’re on the same team. Can you imagine Dwyane and LeBron fighting over who was gonna take technical foul shots? Wouldn’t happen. It’s not good for team morale but it’s entertaining as hell. I love Arsenal, but my boy Wenger is a douche most times, but that’s part of his genius.

There are so many soap opera type scenarios and personalities in World Football that I believe it’s brought more people to the sport. Case in point, this one.

Not any more than any other collection of young men with disposable income and time. The only difference is you’re more likely to hear about a soccer story if it involves baby mama drama.

I mean there’s isn’t exactly a daily “Falling: ” post for soccer to report on say the tight premiership race, Messi and Ronald’s ungodly striking pace or the Champions League
