I remember him. That’s around the time when they had Marcus Fizer and Jamaal Tinsley, right?

I don’t bother with gambling anymore- but I’d say the worst loss I can recall was a New Orleans/Jacksonville game a few years back. I wanna say ’03. Jax was at home, a short favorite, and New Orleans had a crazy multiple lateral play to pull within a point, pending the extra point. And they blow the PAT, ruining at least a chance to push in OT.

Carolina didn’t have their typical depth to begin with this year, so the injuries to Leslie McDonald in the summer, Strickland and Marshall (and even Henson) took their toll.

Yeah, I’m not surprised Marshall and Henson bolted. I’m guessing a big part of it was them getting spooked by all the injuries.

Kendall Marshall fell on his wrist.

Which was also exacerbated by the loss of Dexter Strickland earlier in the year, a more than competent backup to spell Marshall, not to mention highly athletic slasher and on-ball defender.

The only thing I will say is that the officiating has been equally abysmal at both ends. Withey and Davis both should have fouled out a long time ago.
