David Beckham graced a promotional poster for British supermarket chain Sainsbury’s active kids campaign, which was sent out to 47,000 schools and community groups. Unfortunately, the English soccer star is wearing short sleeves and one of his tattoos has caused a bit of controversy.

Beckham has a generously proportioned likeness of his wife Victoria amidst the sleeve on his left arm. Many have deemed the likeness unfit for small children’s consumption, not because she frightens them but because she’s wearing skimpy lingerie.

Anita Deacon, of Winshill Pre-School in Burton, Staffordshire, said: “We’re not being prudish.”

We just think it’s inappropriate. The tattoo depicts Posh Spice wearing nothing but underwear and posing provocatively.”

Half the tattoo is barely visible on his left forearm. Finding this offensive resembles being offended your neighbor walks around his house naked, which you can see if you stand on your tiptoes and crane your head sharply to the right around 7:15am.

Frankly, we are more offended this poster might send the message to millions of British school children that it is cool to get tattoos in Eastern languages you have no affiliation with. That’s the upper middle class version of barb wire.
