Bert Blyleven Shot a Minnesota State Lottery Commercial, With Animal Puppets
Here is a Minnesota State Lottery commercial featuring HOF pitcher Bert Blyleven. Plaid, wood paneling and jovial animal puppets. This accurately depicts what the rest of America pictures when hearing the word “Minnesota.” There’s a nod to his legendary flatulence. If this guy is to be believed, this commercial may be the highlight of the Twins’ season. Amazon might want to stock up on DVD copies of Little Big League. Gonna be a long summer.

Why would the skunk need to clip his nose? Shouldn’t the skunk be used to his own smell? It makes no sense. How can I get a message to these people? I’ve got to get this cleared up.

On behalf of the residents of Minnesota, I apologize for the corny commercial.
/ now you know why others in Minnesota voted for Jesse Ventura.
// didn’t vote for Jesse.

Who is this guy that made those beautiful projections, Tim? That would be almost exactly the same as last season. Which seems pretty unlikely. I don’t like that guy. Tell him I said so. And if he’s big and scary tell him that I said so with the caveat that I’d like to buy him dinner and take him to a ballgame so’s to really pick his brain

I saw the Kent Hrbek one a couple of nights ago, basically the same thing -but I’m glad no one here has seen Hrbek’s Taco Johns commercial and made a post of it.
