Video: Girls High School Soccer Player Faces Assault Charges After Punching Opponent

All, High School Sports, Soccer, Women's Sports Stephen Douglas March 28th. 2012, 9:28pm

This is Annette McCullough, a senior at Lewisville High School in Richburg, South Carolina. In this video she is tackled from behind by a 15-year-old opponent from Chester High School. McCullough obviously felt the tackle was on the drity side since she immediately gets up, pulls her opponent to the ground by her hair and punches her in the face about a dozen times. Yeah, those are full-on ground-and-pound inspired hammer fists. For her trouble, McCullough has been charged with third-degree assault and battery.

If I were the chick getting pummeled, I’d be a little disappointed with my teammate’s reaction. The punch thrower was wide open for a solid crane kick or flying knee.

Wow and it wasn’t even a good girl’s soccer game. I watched the video again and the girl in the blue didn’t even look like she tried to trip her. This girl is just whack. She needs to attend some anger management classes.
See, this what happens because of AYSO, everyone thinks they’re a winner and should get a trophy & snack at the end of a game.

Also, that Knoxville rape/torture/murder got a fair amount of attention, not just in white supremist blogs and not just in Knoxville. And if at all possible, this case is even more fucked up than the current situation in FL, including a retrial because of a drug-abusing judge. Use your Google or Wiki machine for a fascinating read to see that the same lessons are NOT learned time and time again.

What the young lady did was wrong. No doubt. Point is how do we know what transpired throughout the match? The fact that no one from eitger team reacted indicates there may have been more to this.

I started following that story a couple months after it happened. That’s some sick stuff and yeah, I was shocked it wasn’t all over the news considering how brutal, racist and random it was.

This has nothing to do with race. It has to do with a very disturbed 15 year old with angerment issues and poor sportsmanship. But for the record, if it would of been the othe way around, their would have been a freaking riot! If that was my daughter who got hit, I would have press charges myself. She deserves to never play in another team again, since she obviously does not understand who contact sports are plyed.
