Dwyane Wade Did Not Like it When Kendrick Perkins Tried to Teabag Him
Pretty impressive restraint showed here by D Wade: You’re getting your butts kicked on the road, Kendrick Perkins basically kicks you in the face on this dunk, then hangs on the rim so he can try and teabag you. All Wade did was stare Perk down on the walk back upcourt. I’m sure we’ll revisit this post come June for the Finals. [vid via Jose]

I watched this live and didn’t think he did it on purpose.

TBL – tell us again how you feel about tea-bagging?
March 26th, 2012 at 10:37 AM
deez nuts in yo mouuthhh!

I believe Perkins intended to hang on the rim, but I think the contact with Wade was unintentional. At least it did to me.
March 26th, 2012 at 10:38 AM
This is just completely false, but sure.
March 26th, 2012 at 10:39 AM
Is he pissed or in awe that the tea is Oolong?
March 26th, 2012 at 10:40 AM
Nah. His leg just happened to catch Wade’s shoulder. That seemed more like frustration about getting beat up most of the game instead of having Perk’s leg on his shoulder.

You’ll never forget your first teabag — both giving and receiving.

Winner.

pssh…stop being a bitch wade.
March 26th, 2012 at 10:44 AM
Exactly how I saw it.
Wade could plainly see Perkins was going to throw it down hard. If he wasn’t going to foul to prevent it, he should have gotten out of the way if he wanted to avoid contact.

You can’t really tell when you only watch games via YouTube clips and AP recaps.

Great 60 minutes piece on Djokovic last night.

it’s the wagering of money ( and whining about your wagers) that determines whether you’re an actual fan of sports. Watching is ancillary.

This is pretty damn funny.
March 26th, 2012 at 10:51 AM
Yea this is a pretty clear cut case of Wade just acting like a tough guy bitch for no reason.
March 26th, 2012 at 10:53 AM
You should be allowed to take a free shot to the face on anyone who routinely recounts bad beat poker stories.
March 26th, 2012 at 10:54 AM
I routinely cut people off when they try to tell me stories like this. I’ve played over half a million hands at mid stakes NL online. I don’t need to hear about your bad beat; I’ve seen almost everything imaginable, and I’m not impressed.

I saw this on NBA RedZone. I spend all day watching NBA RedZone so I can catch all the filthy and/or nasty dunks.

I missed some actual golf talk in the Roundup this morning, didn’t I?
Oh well, at least I made it on in time for a dunk.
March 26th, 2012 at 10:58 AM
A Mad Men post? DAMN! Now I wish I would have watched last night.

TBL/Jason – quit avoiding me! We had a proposed bet wherein I stated that the Clippers would be out after the first round of the playoffs and then you went AWOL. How about these stakes – if I win, TST, ATL-Engager and others banned get un-banned with an email alerting them to this fact (along with a 1 year non-banning guarantee). If you win, you can give me a new name. Seems fair given the Vegas odds will favor the Clippers in that first round series.

some of the people who are banned need to stay banned.
March 26th, 2012 at 11:03 AM
“some of the people who are banned need to stay banned.”
I’m open to a finite number of un-bannings. Personally, I wouldn’t un-ban Engager, but I’d certainly open it up to public nominations.
March 26th, 2012 at 11:04 AM
lol. I like the way you think, Mr. Wind.
March 26th, 2012 at 11:06 AM
Perk definitely nervous after D Wade’s stare down. Stop it.
March 26th, 2012 at 11:32 AM
Wait,
when did ATL get banned and for what?
March 26th, 2012 at 11:35 AM
I think Wade was hoping to get a mouthful of that.

That sums up the Heat last night.

In the Roundup, he called the website shit or something. It was having technical issues again. JMac threw the banhammer at him.
March 26th, 2012 at 12:56 PM
haha. Everyone knew it was just a matter of time before he got the boot. He was taking a shit on everything Jason McIntyre related for a hot minute now.
