Amar’e Stoudemire Out Indefinitely After MRI Reveals Bulging Disc
The New York Knicks received a bit of bad news this afternoon upon learning Amar’e Stoudemire would be “out indefinitely” thanks to a bulging disc in his lower back. The pain supposedly began during Saturday’s win over Detroit and worsened enough over the weekend for the team to schedule an MRI that took place earlier today. What’s really a shame here is that it appeared Stoudemire was finally beginning to get back some of that signature burst that’s been starkly absent all season long.
When Mike Woodson was asked if Stoudemire would be ready for the playoffs, he said “don’t know.” That sound you’re hearing right now is a countless number of Knicks fans doing the Nestea Plunge for the 26th time this season.

And all this time knick fans were worried about his knee. But then he hurts his back clap-dunking at the layup line before a playoff game…
