My favorite sub is “AskReddit” — Ill go through the first 3-4 pages and just open like 40 links of the ones i like and plow through them. Some of the memes are a little nerdy, but Ill accept it.

“/atheism” is great until you start feeling like they’re preaching to you and you get confused from all the irony.

Some of the novelty reddit accounts are really funny. Polite All Caps guy, I tell bad stories, the one dude who misleads you on the comments — i cant rememebr his name. It’s a great site. Gonewild also is fascinating to me for more than one reason.

jose, my heart breaks when I see my people underachieve. When we as a culture settle for less than we can achieve. I grew up listening to Dr. King’s speeches & actually believing we as a people could rise above whatever beset us.

Oh I definitely agree, just not comfortable with white people sanctimoniously pointing out (obvious) issues in the black community without having any intention of offering a solution or helping to improve the situation. A lot of those issues aren’t solely ‘black issues’ they’re ‘American issues’ or ‘poverty issues’. But it’s easy to point out an issue and not take any responsibility for helping to improve the issue. When black people complain about black issues, that’s like when my sister complains about my mom. I’m fine with that, she’s a member of the family. If my best friend talks shit about my mom, I’m less cool with that.
