Rivers doesn’t finish at the rim well in college (dunks not fancy lay-ups). Rivers is not explosive at all. Nor does he have Westbrook’s length.

Tyreke Evans was what, the first rookie to average 20-5-5 in a season right? That doesn’t mean he doesn’t kinda suck.

Right. He does suck. You’ll have crazy stuff over any single year. We’re talking about 6 straight seasons of stellar play.

And yeah, he made the playoffs once, but he won 43, 45, and 45 games in his four years with Houston. They would have been a 3-5 seed in the East, but shit happens.

12 guys have been able to do what he did in his first six years (19-6-6, 53% True shooting) for just one year. He was a special player.

That made the playoffs once.

I’m not saying he’s garbage, but could Austin Rivers score 20ppg on 42% shooting in the NBA? Sure he could. I don’t know if he could have the rebound or assist numbers Francis had though.

Francis was 20-7-6 over his first six years. That’s very nice.

He peaked his second year, never really won a lot of games, high turnovers, etc.
