In the sports atmosphere of today, when franchises show little or no loyalty to or consideration of the fans, I highly recommend fan free agency. Having dumped the Aints after 45 years, I feel optimism heading into an NFL season for the first time ever.

Shockey wore out his welcome in New Orleans pretty quickly, so there are probably hard feelings both ways. Him being the “snitch” would be perfectly in character, considering how he dumped on the Giants after leaving NY.

I would be so much happier if those pawn shop shows were filmed like cops. Just a bunch of junkies and tweakers coming in all the time pawning lawn furniture, and nothing but old codgers all day shopping there.

I would immediately put that show to #1 on my DVR priority.
