Tim Tebow Picks The Jets, Traded (Again) To New York
Adam Schefter is again reporting that the Tim Tebow is being traded to the Jets, along with a 7th round pick, for a 4th round and 6th round pick. The teams will split the $5 million that were in dispute, and the picks remain the same as earlier.
Just as we should have expected, Tebow is now 50% on completed trades . . . maybe. I guess we can’t rule out anything happening. Don’t worry, I’m sure this will be less of a circus by the time the regular season rolls around.
A few minutes earlier, Schefter had tweeted out that Tebow was being given the option to pick where he would be traded, New York or Jacksonville.

Thank God. Those nine hours where the Jets only had one inept QB were excruciating.

Tim Tebow looks into the stands, where his last errant pass sailed.

Whatever Bill Belichick agreed to at the Crossroads, it was worth it.

Actually he came up short to the Jags because their GM actually read his contract. So he’s at 33%.
This only ends badly, for Sanchez, Tebow, Rex, everyone.

who doesn’t love the circus? I love the circus.

Being good is much more enjoyable than being interesting. SB Rings > 3 ring circus.

Yeah right!

Todd Charske thinks Tebow will heal the locker room.

That was funny.

This isn’t funny. I hate circuses. Always have since I was a kid. Clowns and slave elephants and midgets. Horrifying. However, if you mean, “Fantastic Shit Storm,” yeah, I like those. I’m all for crazy.

What the hell do you have against midgets?!?!
March 21st, 2012 at 9:34 PM
so basically Tannenbaum is just playing “NBA Trade Machine’ in the real life NFL, not reading the contract, right?

Can a tattoo artist can change the Bronco’s jerseys on those awful tattoos to Jets jerseys? I wonder…

It’s good to see that your Tebowner is no longer flaccid J-Mac.

Jets posts this season will be overwhelmingly nauseating. In numbers and in content
March 21st, 2012 at 9:44 PM
how is that different from any season? they still won’t be as bad as the Brett the Jet days.
March 21st, 2012 at 9:44 PM
what was wrong with the content of this post?

I loved listening to NY radio kill this today. In Boston, they had Joe Beningo on this afternoon, and the dude just went OFF for like 10 min straight. Don’t even know if he took a breath.

Nobody wants to play in that cesspool. It’s worse than Cleveland.
March 21st, 2012 at 9:47 PM
Elway is straight doing work, makes a sweet deal, then gets an extra $2.5, for same deal…

I’m almost interested to know what you want/expect from a 3rd-string QB.
But not really.
March 22nd, 2012 at 12:41 AM
I wish TST could still post here but you know what they say: Wish in one hand, shit in the other and odds are Tim Tebow won’t be able to throw either to another football player
March 22nd, 2012 at 1:22 AM
I was really bothered earlier today when TBL was gushing over this and how it was gonna be good for the Jets. I think that is crazy talk. No way this ends well for the product on the field.
Problem was I was assuming TBL was looking at this as a Jets fan. He is not. He is thinking of how this affects his business. Tebow to Jets is a boon for business for the site. TBL is a Jets centric blogger. Tebow is HUGE in terms of page views. Let’s face it, he moves the dial. This is good for business if the Tebow/Jets experiment succeeds OR fails. Either way TBL wins.
Now I understand and it doesn’t bother me. I don’t blame TBL for being excited… How could I. I would feel the same way. I am a diehard Rams fan and wouldn’t want them to make this move, but then again Rams moves don’t have direct affects on my commercial real estate business. If it did I would be saying bring on the circus too. Putting business success and in turn family welfare ahead of desire for your team to succeed is an easy decision.
Now if TBL actually believes that defenses can’t figure out the read option and that is what made Denver a success last year… Well then he really is unintentionally funny.

direct effects. Corrected for grammar.
