Trade Alert! Monta Ellis and Andrew Bogut Switch Teams in a 5-Player Deal
According to Adrian Wojnarowski and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Bucks and Warriors have agreed to a trade that will send Monta Ellis, Kwame Brown and Epke Udoh to Milwaukee in exchange for Andrew Bogut and Stephen Jackson. Thus ends any talk of Ellis heading to Orlando and the dream of Dwight Howard being appeased by the Old Gods. Fun fact: This is Kwame Brown’s 7th team. [Yahoo!, JSOnline]

Ilyasova may average 19 rebounds a game now at the rate Monta and Jennings shoot

How many times have two #1 picks been traded for each other?

Both of these teams are doomed.

I predict a locker room fight between david lee and s Jax. And another elbow injury for Bogut..that leaves GSW with Curry and his weak ankle, anthony morrow, brandon rush..and biedrins… Hello lottery!

MU, not even scott skiles will be able to get Monta to play one shred of defense

How does this affect Captain Jack’s uhh captaincy???

Yeah I know, but Bogut couldn’t stay healthy, they added a scorer that will limit BJ3′s chucking and got cap relief. I’ll take it.

Well, yeah. But at least the Bucks got rid of cap’n Jack and his $10 Million Salary. Whatever. We traded a guy who’s barely been on the floor the last two years and an malcontent for 2 pretty good players. (Both of who probably won’t be on the Bucks roster in 3 years, but such is life as a Bucks fan)

So ME chucking >>> BJ chucking?

Drew Gooden, who has three years remaining ($20.1M)
This is the kind of thing that makes me sick….F the deer

BJ and Ellis have missed more shots combined than any other pair of teammates. This is going to be a spectacular disaster.

This is going to be a spectacular disaster.
It wasn’t already? As mentioned above, the Bucks signed Gooden to a 36 Million dollar deal.

Wow, I’m very intrigued by a Jennings/Ellis backcourt. Do they play with two balls at once in Milwaukee?
And here I was hoping Milwaukee would keep it going so I wouldn’t have to bother with another first round Knick sweep this year. Thanks Geritol.
Side note: Anyone remember the old Mecca in Milwaukee? I believe it’s still standing. Sometimes the bottom of the net seemed like it was pulled so tight that you’d have trouble passing a golf ball through there. Ah, the NBA in the 80s…

Soo Flip Saunders replaces Skiles next year then, to run & gun?!
March 14th, 2012 at 8:25 AM
The fun question for me is: Can the Bucks beat out the Knicks for the eight spot this year? That would be glorious.

It’s now called the U.S. Cellular arena. It now hosts UW-Milwaukee basketball.
