speaking of anthems, my 6yo girl sang ours this morning, with hardly a mistake. i had no idea they were learning it at school. i was as proud as i was amazed…not for patriotic reasons, but as i told her it’s a hard song lyrically that many many grown ups have famously fucked up (no i didn;t say those exact words). will show her some on youtube later
