Randy Moss to the 49ers on a 1-Year Deal
Randy Moss retired on August 1, 2011. Less than eight and a half months later … he’s back.
Moss, the 2nd best receiver in NFL history, has inked a 1-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers.
I can’t wait for Moss to further stain his legacy by acting up in San Francisco. The guess here is that his catering stunt in Minnesota in 2010 will pale in comparison to his blow-ups with Jim Harbaugh over QB Alex Smith.
Somewhere, Terrell Owens weeps and wonders, “why can’t I get a job?”

Maybe Randy knows Peyton is going there?

Will the NFL bend more rules so Alex Smith can use a Juggs machine to throw Moss a 40-yd 9 route?

What are the numbers/cap hit? Might not be a bad gamble.

Great add. Total team-first guy, will fit in perfectly with Harbaugh’s blue collar ethos.

Maybe SF has the enforcers necessary to get Moss to act right.

Don’t really understand this move as Moss doesn’t exactly fit into the concept that they have in SF now. But I’m sure he’ll block in the running game.

Perhaps this is a move aimed at swapping him for a draft pick in April. Think someone would offer a 4th for him? Might not be a bad deal.

And Frank Gore, Joe Staley, Vernon Davis, Justin Smith, Moran Norris, NaVorro Bowman and Dashon Goldson.
But I’d rather have TO. I can’t believe I just said that.

Not sure I’d put him above Rice, but I do agree that they’re both below Don Hudson.

That sound you just heard was my head exploding.
/and it’s Hutson, I think.
March 12th, 2012 at 10:57 PM
Him as well.
March 12th, 2012 at 11:05 PM
We talkin’ Don Hutson in here? It took until the 80s for someone to break his TD record set in an era when the forward pass wasn’t even really a thing yet, just absurd

His best seasons were when all the good athletes where fighting in World War 2.

Yeah, well, Sterling Sharpe’s neck injury is the only reason people think of Rice as being the best ever
/Does that stupid thing Clay Matthews breaks out

Which means secondary’s weren’t a thing, either. But yea, absurd. Gimmie a break.
March 12th, 2012 at 11:15 PM
Oh yea, I remember Sterling Sharpe. And Herman Moore. And Andre Rison.
