March Madness Final Projection: North Carolina and Michigan State Are Nominally #1 Seeds, But Missouri and Kansas Could Swap With Them
Here’s my final projection. I think Michigan State is in as a #1, and I suspect North Carolina holds off Kansas, though it would not surprise me if the committee flipped them out West. I have them paired with two “3.5 seeds” in Michigan and Louisville that could als be swapped. 15 minutes to go. Here are my seeding guesses, including Florida State moving up to a #3 with consecutive wins over Duke/UNC, and Murray State dropping to a #6 with big profile wins by Vanderbilt, Louisville and New Mexico over the last week.

I hope you are right on Iona…I threw a small wager on them to make the field at odds of 5.5-1.

I would be okay with facing Creighton. UVA just needs to avoid a team with a ton of size.

I am probably not right, but i like those odds. I think they’ve got at least a 33% chance.

Geoff, you want no part of creighton or wichita state. They would have no issue with UVA. UVA ihas no chance unless Mike Scott has dominant games every time

That’d be sweet for KU if that is the way that region shakes out.

WINNER! RPI FTW (even if I personally don’t believe it is any good)
