Peyton Manning Era in Indianapolis Officially Ends Today
If it can happen to Peyton, it can happen to anyone. Peyton Manning joins Johnny Unitas, Joe Montana, and Brett Favre as the only guys to play 12 or more seasons with one team before moving on to another. Two years ago, the thought of four-time MVP Peyton Manning, then 34, being gone from Indianapolis would have seemed implausible.
How things change. With Peyton Manning sidelined for the 2011 season with multiple neck procedures, the Colts fell apart, finishing 2-14. Last season showed that Indianapolis is a long way removed from those teams that won 12 or more games every year from 2003 to 2009, and it also provided the means to bridge to the future, with the 1st overall pick in a season when one of the best quarterback prospects since, well, Peyton Manning, is entering the league.
So, no one is safe if the legend, the man who made the Indianapolis Colts a household name across the country, can be released. The decision was of course necessary. Logically, it is what Indianapolis had to do given the large roster bonus due, and because Andrew Luck is now likely to wear the horseshoe. Peyton Manning will now see if he can continue his greatness elsewhere, and there will be no shortage of suitors over the next few weeks.
141 regular season wins, 4 MVP’s, two Super Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl win. The Colts won 75% or more of their games 8 times with Peyton Manning. That matches the number of seasons they did that in their history, going back to 1953, before he arrived.
“End of an era” is probably overused for too many things that don’t have the significance. Today, though, qualifies in Indianapolis. The Peyton Manning Era in Indianapolis is dead; long live Peyton Manning.

I was such a big Ryan Leaf fan — still am.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:12 AM
I had no clue he had been around THAT long.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:13 AM
Anyone keeping suicide watch for Sanders?
March 7th, 2012 at 10:14 AM
RIP, 2001-2010 Colts/Pats rivalry. It was fun.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:15 AM
Thought the same thing about Aramis Ramirez yesterday. 15 years! Shit like that makes me feel old.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:15 AM
The warden took away sanders’ belt before locking him in for the night, no doubt.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:17 AM
It’s actually a big bummer. I loved watching him play in Indy and as many have mentioned, who’s to say he’ll ever play like he did when he was healthy? I hope he plays well with whomever he signs with, but this is kind of a bummer for NFL fans.
The work of Satan is real.

Random, but this is a cool idea for a commercial. Two La Liga superstars stop strangers on the street and ask them for their photo.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:21 AM
This shit drawn out longer than the Who Shot JR Cliffhanger. At least we didn’t know who shot JR. Everyone knew Manning was getting released.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:22 AM
He’s gotta be a Jet right? Is Tom Moore still in an advising role with the Jets? I can see a scenario where Sanchize is traded to Seattle to join up with Pete Carroll and the Jets/Pats rivalry goes up even another level.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:23 AM
So, you’re just writing off Andrew Luck then?
March 7th, 2012 at 10:23 AM
O/U Peyton signing with a team by the draft?
March 7th, 2012 at 10:23 AM
I support this.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:24 AM
There’s no way he’d want to join that dumpster fire.. not to mention of the cold, outdoors stadium.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:24 AM
Gotta be under. You’d think that would change a teams stragey for the draft, right?
March 7th, 2012 at 10:24 AM
If Luck is awesome, it would be a completely different rivalry. And Brady ain’t lasting much longer.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:25 AM

Peyton Manning — Fantasy Beast
March 7th, 2012 at 10:28 AM
no, he wants to go to a winner
March 7th, 2012 at 10:28 AM
Didn’t Carroll and Sanchez have a bit of a falling out when it came out that Carroll had said that he didn’t think Sanchez was ready for the NFL or something?
March 7th, 2012 at 10:28 AM
I had no idea there were videos on youtube of people just playing Metal Gear Solid straight through. This is awesome.
Snake?
…Snake?
SNAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways. Peyton got dunked on then?
March 7th, 2012 at 10:28 AM
Fucking Reche Caldwell.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:29 AM
here’s some fun
quick name a similar situation in any sport….gretzky leaving? he was in his prime. montana leaving? did they have a combined farewell presser?
March 7th, 2012 at 10:29 AM
Off topic but CJ, I looked at Bard’s Pitch F/X stuff from yesterday… holy shit. Kid was popping triple digits on the regular. I think out of all your pitchers this year, I’ll be most intrigued to sit down and watch his starts. Pineda, Moore and Bard in the AL East for me.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:29 AM
I agreed with what the well spoken Tom Jackson said — if you don’t have an elite level QB, you need to think about if acquiring Peyton is the right decision.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:30 AM
one of the things that bug me about the rich is that they soemtimes dress like hell. irsay’s mob suits are an abomination
March 7th, 2012 at 10:30 AM
Wanna start a pool about which comment # will be MikeNYC citing Peyton’s playoff record? I got 78
As someone who got blindside drunk the day we thought Favre retired I empathize with the Colt fans…it gets better, especially if you’re turning over the reins to a first round QB from northern California
/Belt
March 7th, 2012 at 10:30 AM
Seconded. Sanchez to the (non-49ers) NFC West!
March 7th, 2012 at 10:30 AM
Not sure if they don’t talk due to that, but he definitely said at his presser that he felt he should stay. Turns out he was dead on, though I bet TBL called Carroll bitter or some other word once the Mexigod was drafted.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:30 AM
Luck/Mallett has potential, right?
March 7th, 2012 at 10:30 AM
I hope he’s a Seahawk, I fear he’ll become a Redskin.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:31 AM
Dungy on DP Show right now. Sounds like Manning is the first domino to fall. More player cuts coming b/c of the cap.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:31 AM
I fucking loved that game.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:31 AM
Even as a Jaguars fan, it’s a sad day seeing Peyton leave Indy. Won’t be the same seeing him in different colors on Sundays.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:31 AM
I can’t see him playing in the same division as his brother.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:32 AM
He was? How do you figure
March 7th, 2012 at 10:32 AM
You mean when Carroll was absolutely dead-on correct? Yes, I think they did at the time, but I thought it wasn’t a big deal.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:32 AM
Even though I know you are, every time you type this, I smell unicorn farts.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:32 AM
I believe TBL called him “Matt” and said he was a “lefty.”
/but you already knew that
March 7th, 2012 at 10:33 AM
Hope he can keep that up over seven innings. I think he can.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:33 AM
everyone will make nice, but manning has to be disappointed. who’s left coaching or playing that was around when the colts were beast? they did the reverse of what the bears have done to cutler….they took manning’s help away
March 7th, 2012 at 10:33 AM
Totally agree. Im wicked excited to see how he does, and if his other pitches can be successful. Not as excited to see what slop we throw out as the 5th starter.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:33 AM
Nice to see that only QB’s count in this world.
Its sad that someone will have to move to a different city to make 20 million a year. Dealing with a moving company is way worse than any NFL defense.

Unitas…Namath…Montana…Tarkenton…Favre…the list is endless.
This is not new. It’s rarer when a QB does finish with the team he started a la Elway or Aikman.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:34 AM
So does Reggie Wayne follow Peyton Manning?
March 7th, 2012 at 10:35 AM
Combined ERA of Lackey/Wakefield last year…too high to calculate. Can’t be too much worse this year.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:35 AM
they really need to come out with a new game for this series.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:36 AM
It’s in development, but it’ll be another year at least.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:36 AM
cut that meat! cut that meat! cut that meat!
March 7th, 2012 at 10:37 AM
That’s the hitch. Somewhere like Seattle or Tennessee would be good for him, they have enough pieces to be a contender immediately. I like the Redskins a lot though, and I want them to get RGIII.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:37 AM
Peyton can go anywhere he wants except the Jets or Redskins.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:37 AM
I was reading about his offseason stuff after I looked at the numbers from yesterday’s start. Apparently he’s been working on that sinker and changeup most of the offseason. They said he was gripping his changeup too hard and it was affecting the movement. Going for less velocity, more movement this year. If he can add a sinker to the changeup, 4 seamer and slider, he’ll be good. My concern wouldn’t be his stuff, but like H-Town said, what’s his durability in terms of innings per start.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:38 AM
I would think yes.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:39 AM
I really enjoy the caption with the main photo on the front page of this site.
stubbornly uncorrupted and unbeholden, indeed.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:39 AM
Heard him this morning. When that bald, white douchebag from OSU was drafted he couldnt make it to spring camps because he was finishing classes. Peyton would drive 3 hours to Columbus, throw balls for 1.5 hours, and drive back twice a week just so he would be up to speed. Unreal.
I’d tell that kid to visit Tressels Car Emporium and drive his ass to Indy. But I’m lazy.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:40 AM
I’d actually be fine with him on the Jets, as it’d get the EIC away from throwing the entire Jets team under the bus in defending the shitty QB.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:42 AM
one with Snake or with Raiden?
I didn’t mind MGS3.. or 2, whichever it was where Raiden was the main character for most of the game…
but I’m not sure I want to play a MGS game w/o Snake
March 7th, 2012 at 10:43 AM
Agree. A+ on the normally neglected proper grammar usage. Respect.
/Yes – I correct my kids’ grammar at home
March 7th, 2012 at 10:43 AM
Hello Miami! MIA will make a run at him. Deep pockets from a star-struck owner and other solid players at WR and RB. DEF can be solid too. MIA shores this pickup and they concentrate on either getting another stud with the 8th pick.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:44 AM
Especially if its the Dolphins.
/I know they already have Brandon Marshall
//Wayne did okay with Marvin Harrison on the other side of him
///I may be in the minority here, but I think Manning would do wonders for Reggie Bush
March 7th, 2012 at 10:44 AM
they really need to come out with a new game for this series.
It’s in development, but it’ll be another year at least.
You can spend that time with Mass Effect 3. Got it last night and spent 6 hours playing it. I swear, I better stop it because midterms are next week!
March 7th, 2012 at 10:44 AM
Yup. It seems inevitable.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:45 AM
MGS4: Guns of the Patriots was too weird for me. All the other ones I enjoyed. Especially Sons of Liberty.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:45 AM
Not sure. They just announced that Kojima was hiring developers for the newest one, and there’s some talk that it may be a big launch for the PS4 whenever that comes out (2 years most likely). I agree w/ you on MGS without Snake. It just doesn’t work, but they can only keep him old for so long before it becomes absurd.
God dammit, Mole. I’m going to watch this whole thing most likely.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:47 AM
I wish, but with a newborn I don’t have much time for games. I still need to start Uncharted III.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:47 AM
Wow. He did run for over 1000 yards and 5.0 yards a carry last year in 15 games.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:48 AM
Harken back the days with Edgerrin James. I am not a Peyton fan, but I’d love to see the Phins get back on track with a stud QB for a couple of years. Then again, he could go out in 2012 and crack his neck in the 4th game of the season and end his career.
/seems most likely scenario for this here fan.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:49 AM
I thin the only game I will buy this year will be GTA V. I fucking love those games.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:49 AM
The thing with Miami is this… isn’t there a reason that Jim Harbaugh and Jeff Fisher went elsewhere? I don’t think Peyton can ignore that. Gotta factor into his decision making. Especially the response the Dowfeens gave Fisher when he chose StL over them.
SF is my leader in the clubhouse. Captain Comeback would be amazing with 18.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:50 AM
it’s not outside the realm of possibilities they find a way to bring him back younger… cloning, etc. i’d buy that story line just to play it.
I’d be a bit bummed if they launch it with the new console, only b/c I don’t want to have to buy a new one in a couple years.
/thinks about MGS4 sitting on my shelf at home, mentally puts it back in the queue of games to play
March 7th, 2012 at 10:51 AM
Dallas Clark and Raaaaaandy too.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:51 AM
I assume the Dolphins would still hold on to Matt Moore, right? I mean, I know he’s Matt Moore, but he’s at least semi-competent, and about as good of an insurance policy for the Manning injury that you could get.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:52 AM
I was thinking more like Marshall Faulk since he was such a good pass catcher out of the backfield.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:52 AM
Weird? That game was awesome, as well as quite prophetic. The war machine and war economy already exists. Mercenary robo-soldiers will all the rage in the near future. War has indeed changed.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:52 AM
They didn’t have a QB……
March 7th, 2012 at 10:53 AM
I think it’s AZ.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:54 AM
Could you use actual names instead of nicknames you make up?
March 7th, 2012 at 10:54 AM
Couldn’t agree more. What’s so great about MGS is how well it holds up. Compare it to Syphon Filter (a kickass game from 1999, a year later than MGS) and it’s not even close.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:55 AM
Peyton has a house in Miami. He spends a lot of time down there. It’s a lock.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:56 AM
Holy crap, I never knew this. That’s dedication.
I remember a Sports Pickle article a few years ago about Manning stopping practice and angrily walking toward the sidelines to chew out Jim Sorgi for not properly holding the clipboard.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:56 AM
Most people know Jimmy Harbaugh is Captain Comeback, right?
March 7th, 2012 at 10:57 AM
I’d hope so.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:58 AM
Arkham City is still consuming my life. Uncharted 3 is next. Should have played more earlier this winter…with golf season coming up, not sure how much time I’m going to have.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:58 AM
I just want whatever team Peyton signs with to fully embrace the new NFL rules and pass for 6000 yards.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:59 AM
Vlad, no suspension for Kronwall. Right decision, imo.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:59 AM
I plan on owning The Show at this time next week and not interacting with any other humans from 5 PM Wednesday to 10 AM Saturday.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:59 AM
Peyton is also an excellent tipper
March 7th, 2012 at 10:59 AM
Does SF have the cap space to sign Peyton? Please don’t go to the Jets, please don’t go to the Jets, please don’t go to the Jets.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:59 AM
manning’s got three good years left right?
March 7th, 2012 at 10:59 AM
Captain Pompous Asshole.
Geez, I agree. Thought he may get suspended though.
March 7th, 2012 at 10:59 AM
Off topic but CJ, I looked at Bard’s Pitch F/X stuff from yesterday
Anyone know if Bard is on an innings limit this year?
March 7th, 2012 at 11:00 AM
yeah, syphon filter was great. thought about that game the other day actually.
considering the number of games out now with simplified controls, like batman and uncharted for example, i’d be very interested to see if a new MGS game does simplify the controls at least a little bit
March 7th, 2012 at 11:01 AM
Where did you find this?
So that $739 includes 18% AND he added $200 to it? Wowzers.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:01 AM
Shanahan knows they can’t have Datsyuk, Lidstrom AND Kronwall out at the same time. Gotta keep his squirt gun in a holster I guess.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:02 AM
This morning one of the talking heads was suggesting the Texans as a darkhorse candidate for Manning. He said they could trade Schaub to a team like the Redskins then go all in with Manning. It would take a huge set of balls to try that, but I don’t think there’s any chance it happens.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:02 AM
Arkham City was so much fun. That’s what a $60 game should be. So much depth to it that you feel like you got enough out of it to pay that kind of coin.
Agree. The problem with the new games and the new systems is that they can get too complicated at times for my taste.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:02 AM
just finished up the story for AC, doing the “game +” and replaying it at the harder difficulty with the 1989 batman film costume.
finished uncharted 3 a while ago, but planning on going back to it again, after playing the first two.
then on to Skyrim when it gets down to about $30.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:03 AM
Where did you find this?
DS
March 7th, 2012 at 11:03 AM
Excellent, good for him. Hey Tiger, this is how it’s done.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:04 AM
That lucky SOB who served Peyton and his party is having a nice little beer bash this weekend.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:04 AM
Kronwall’s a bit overrated IMO. He makes a bunch of mistakes that everyone overlooks because of a huge hit every couple games and his goal production.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:04 AM
Some kid on twitter said his brother bussed a table in STL for Manning and he tipped $500 on a $500 bill. Cool if true.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:05 AM
DS?
March 7th, 2012 at 11:06 AM
I’d reckon he means deadspin.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:06 AM
So that $739 includes 18% AND he added $200 to it? Wowzers.
Peyton made ~27 million dollars last year alone. That’s about $51 per minute, if my math is right. In the amount of time it took the waiter to bring the check back from him to sign it, he made enough money to cover the tip. Crazy.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:06 AM
My wife bought it for me, but I’ve gotten at least 20+ hours out of it so far.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:07 AM
Ok, Mr Rovell
March 7th, 2012 at 11:07 AM
yeah, i think uncharted and the arkham games did the simplified controls perfectly. easy enough for anyone to pick up, but once you get the hang of all the possibilities the controls allow, it’s actually quite challenging.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:07 AM
Ok, Mr Rovell
Oh, go clip some coupons.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:08 AM
“The wars of the future will not be fought on the battlefield or at sea. They will be fought in space, or possibly on top of a very tall mountain. In either case, most of the actual fighting will be done by small robots. And as you go forth today remember always your duty is clear: To build and maintain those robots.”
March 7th, 2012 at 11:08 AM
This. Though when he goes to Mia/NYJ or anywhere else and that picks up or becomes a rivalry, we’ll see just how much the NE/IND thing was about Brady-Manning and not those two teams. Even if Luck is good and Colts are a playoff contender in a season or two, I don’t think that animosity could ever be recreated.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:09 AM
SF is my leader in the clubhouse. Captain Comeback would be amazing with 18.
Anyone else think Harbaug’s ego seems to big to let 18 run the show?
March 7th, 2012 at 11:09 AM
Just having enough money to drop that kind of cash and not even blink must be nice.

SF
Houston
Baltimore?
The Media Will Portray Them In It:

Why are the pretty ones always insane?
March 7th, 2012 at 11:11 AM
That can be said for Lobster Shanahan, which is why the Redskins-Manning thing should already be dead.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:12 AM
Couldn’t you say the same about Rex or any other coach? “Well he couldn’t win till he got Peyton”. I mean you still have morons who alternately call Brady a system QB, and Belichick nothing without Brady… I’m sure whoever brings in Peyton is going to have a little bit of that in the mainstream rhetoric.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:12 AM
Brady/Belichick/Competent Defense VS Manning
March 7th, 2012 at 11:12 AM
As a Ravens fan, I’d drop Flacco for Peyton 100 time out of 100, and I even like Flacco. But I’d rather pay Peyton a ton for a couple years than give Flacco the money he wants on a long-term deal.
And it’s fucking Peyton Manning. We’d OWN with him.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:12 AM
Just having enough money to drop that kind of cash and not even blink must be nice.

Throws up both arms
March 7th, 2012 at 11:13 AM
Damn. Denver belongs in, but likely in another category: “In It If They Want to Piss Off God”.
Not sure if they are interested or not. Can’t tell through the horse teeth what Elway is thinking.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:13 AM
That can be said for Lobster Shanahan, which is why the Redskins-Manning thing should already be dead.
I think Shanahan has to have been humbled these last few years sucking without Elway to take him to the playoffs. Harbaugh just coached a QB nobody thought was any good to the NFC title game.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:13 AM
Jim Harbaugh wants to win.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:14 AM
We’ve all been there in college, or for many, beyond it. It’s a necessary life experience. Working at a private institution with lots of kids driving their parents’ Saabs around in luxury apartments with rent pre-paid for the year, I have realized just how out of touch and annoying those kind of kids are. Build that character up… it’s about all you can afford to build right now!
March 7th, 2012 at 11:15 AM
No. It’s all about the QB’s and their wins.
/TiBbLe
March 7th, 2012 at 11:15 AM
I wish, but with a newborn I don’t have much time for games. I still need to start Uncharted III.
My brother just had a baby and, while thrilled, he’s slept no more than 12 hours in the last 6 days or eaten more than 2500 kcal total. He didn’t even know Game of Thrones or Mass Effect 3 had come out yesterday.
Aside: game I can’t wait for: Assassin’s Creed 3.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:15 AM
KHAN!!!! Wouldn’t surprise me to see the Jags make a run, although don’t know why Peyton would go there if he wants to win anytime soon. Really don’t see him co-existing w/Harbaugh – can’t both be in charge. Texans make some sense as well.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:16 AM
It’s the one thing I wish Assassins Creed series would get better is the controls. However 3 looks flat out awesome.

Can’t see Manning even considering Denver.

Peyton is going to take the Browns to the Super Bowl, just like I do every day
March 7th, 2012 at 11:19 AM
No.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:20 AM
This. If I’m not mistaken, the Pats went 11-5 with Matt Cassel under center and look at Cassel now.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:23 AM
Brian Hoyer isn’t Matt Cassell! Anyone got a spare 2nd rounder hanging around? Will accept one late in the round even…

As opposed to the other coaches out there who want to lose
March 7th, 2012 at 11:26 AM
I think their defense is good enough where having a QB like manning and possibly a WR like Wayne would take that team to 10-6 pretty easily.

Things like Game of Thrones or ME3 will not be in his view for a long time. And sleep becomes a nice to have for the first couple of months, then it gets back to normal.

Young and improving D and o-line, good rushing game, offensive coordinator with no dick to fling around. Make it happen, 7. Jui-jitsu the Tebow era before it gets any farther.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:37 AM
Would love to see him come to Denver – not sure Broncos are really close enough to being really good to make it worthwhile for him. I also agree that the Tebow era would need to end – not sure how it would benefit anyone to have Tebow “learn” from Peyton, because he just isn’t capable of doing what Peyton does.

Unless I decide I want to own a farm I’m not having kids.

Quick question for the gamers: how is Skyrim? I tried playing elder scrolls 5 and hated it. Wife bought me Skyrim and wi get bitchy if I bring it back.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:43 AM
You will if your significant other wants them. Guys don’t make the rules, they just live by them.
The key is staying with the chick that has as many of the same rules as you do. Oh, and she has to be hot too…

Peyton Manning joins Johnny Unitas, Joe Montana, and Brett Favre as the only guys to play 12 or more seasons with one team before moving on to another.
Matt Stover feels he was excluded by technicality.

THIS. Somehow, I feel that this scenario has not gotten nearly the discussion it deserves.

Mike Bragg says punters were excluded.

Also, he could hang out with Todd Helton and sing country songs.

My brother married into the fruit farm business. He’s having a son soon, I told him to name him Juan so he fits in.

i can only imagine how many more superbowls manning would have won as a colt provided he played for actual head coaches.
March 7th, 2012 at 11:50 AM
Ah, mawwiage…
March 7th, 2012 at 11:58 AM
Ah, mawwiage…

I have played a shitload of Skyrim and enjoyed it. It’s cool that you can do whatever the hell you want, and the depth of the amount of locations and missions is pretty impressive. You don’t have to do the main quest, which is nice, and I tend to lean towards walking everywhere and just discovering new stuff. As long as you can get past every guard you walk by telling you how he “used to be an adventurer, but then I took an arrow to the knee”, I think you should give it a shot. Also, make sure you save every once in awhile. I once managed to play for 2 hours without saving and died suddenly- it was terrible.

Peyton is also an excellent tipper
I’ll bet you five dollars that that 18% gratuity stamp got stamped after Manning left the restaurant.
