if ever there was a sport that shouldn’t keep score, it’s spring training baseball.

This is what I love about Top Golf vs. regular golf. Whoever finishes having done the most beers and tequila shots wins at Top Golf. Screw the actual score.

When the Indians were great 95-99, the Indians home channel (1100 WTAM) used to re-broadcast the best games from the previous year each night, counting down the 20-30 games. That was actually a nice break every once in a while in the winter. This was better than pre-season broadcasts.

Fun story: this girl I fucked in college ended up meeting Verlander through her job at WEEI and became his Boston road beef for about a year. He flew her out to games in other cities a few times too, to LA and Philly if I recall correctly. She thought they were in love.
