Italy coach Cesare Prandelli did not call up Mario Balotelli for the USA friendly, due to concerns about his maturity and professionalism. This weekend won’t help his case. The Italian striker was photographed leaving a Liverpool strip club around 2:00am Friday Morning, around 36 hours before kickoff for Saturday’s Bolton match. The club is expected to fine him the maximum two weeks wages over the incident, which will cost him about $396,000.

Incidentally, Balotelli scored against Bolton, his third-straight league appearance with a goal. He is tied for seventh in the EPL with 11 goals, despite making just nine starts and 17 appearances this season. That’s why you put up with him.
