What’s this? I just started MBA classes last year. What did you have to do to receive that credit?

It's the American Opportunity Credit...I'm not entirely sure but I think you simply need to have paid a certain amount in tuition while having income less than $80KCan take it for up to 4 years too so long as you're going to school

Are you suggesting that the federal government should now somehow be policing how much money a private employee is “allowed” to make?
Surely that’s not what you meant.

I’m suggesting people make as much money as they want, so long as the pay of the lowest level employee doesn’t fall below a certain percentage of whatever the person earning the highest amount is.

Maybe it’s not the right approach. All I know is the trend we’re currently on don’t bode well for the future.

A local Cleveland sports blog I read (Waiting for Next Year) can switch mobile formats multiple times but this place can’t even do it once. commenting here is hard but the load times, posts not loading at all etc is why annoys me the most

It’s magical. 2011 was the first year we were in our house for the full year, so this year was the first year we were able to itemize. Never had a return so large. Happy days.

My refund went from big to zero this year (spare me the ‘you shouldn’t shoot for a big refund’ discussion, my wife likes it) with no substantial difference in income, withholdings, marital status, etc. Thoughts?
